Try looking through the forums, especially the spreadsheet, where you can pick through the list yourself. No one is going to do it all for you.

They have a $198 emachine laptop. This looks like it might be it.

There is a HP for $298. It is the same one they sold a couple weeks ago at that price. Has the full keyboard(number pad).

Another HP for $398. 17.3 inch LED screen, intel dual core processor (not sure which cpu), 320 GB hard drive 4gb ram, intel 4500MHD graphics. Also has the number pad. Model: g71-329wm. I'm guessing it is the same as this, but without the webcam and probably a slightly lower processor (t6400? t6500? Both are very good cpus for this price).

my wife wants a netbook, so the one for 179 at BB seemed not too shabby, they are normally around $300

On a serious note, the largest problem I am having is that it is next to impossible to find out the video cards on these things.

Fortunately, there was a thread that had a link that rated vid cards. Now, to find out what card is in these things.

Also, I am hearing that you can just buy an upgraded vid card. Problem I see with that is you will void any and all warranties.
