Well, if anyone wants to help type out a couple pages with me, lemme know...

That must have been you that posted it on the other site. Not sure what they've been doing about scans.

the post has been updated.... everything's up now except for stuff like little kids toys and clothing

thanks man - it's hard to make out, but it looks like maybe - 4dp50719 or 50739?
it has 1 HDMI, 2 component, 1 USB, 1 s-video, 1 PC, and 1 A/V, if that might help identify...

..oh and it's not available in high altitude stores =P

Good job, thank you

Thank you for the list.

Anyone got specs on the lappys?

Do you have access to the ad for mart with walls? Can you share the love please and thanks

Anyone know where the best deal will be found for a Apple iPod Touch 8GB, 3rd Gen (Newest model)?

[Link removed]

the text has been updated with toys and clothes
the only thing not up there now is housewares crap like towels and pots and pans and stuff...

Hi Frd - the best deal i have seen for IPOD TOUCH 8 GB is on www.meijer.com. when u buy this - u get 50$ GC which is good deal i hope.

And then eventually u can buy Wii from this store to get 50$ off - and again u get 50$ GC for Wii. But not sure if u have this store in ur area.....Good Luck

The $298 laptop is the same one they sold a couple weeks ago when they did the xbox deal. From what I read those who got it were very happy with it.

I heard from a little birdie, that because of the person being trampled last year, WalMart is actually going to be open on Thanksgiing day, and not close at all, so that there is not a mad rush to the door at 5:00. They are not going to advertise this fact, but you can be in the store at say 2:00 get what you want, but you won't get the sale price until 5:00.

i'm still curious about this - does this mean everyone's gonna just pack their cart full of whatever for hours, and then all sit camped out by the checkout at 4:59am??

(then people can get trampled on their way OUT of Wal-Mart.. progress!)

ooooo the madness that will ensue. Hopefully My WD 1TB HD doesn't get stomped.

This thread says they are going to use a ticket system for the big ticket items. It is not very clear when they will start handing out tickets. (some may even close for a couple hours to place items/get ready)

As far as the smaller items: I assume they will place pallets wrapped in brown paper like they usually do at the 24 hour wal-marts. Our 24 hour WalMart has always opened up at 6:00pm on Thanksgiving, and that is how they usually do it. They even wrap up the $2 DVDs.

according to the ad though, they are going to have online "maps" to stores that show where each of the "special" items are going to be located...

I hope they do, but I am not holding my breath (lots of Walmarts out there to cover the maps). We'll see.

HP Pavilion p6243w-b Desktop - $398

Was wondering about the specs of this system.

thanks OP.
i was thinking about the TVs:
46' Sony Bravia LCD 1080p for $798
46' Samsung LCD 1080p HDTV $848 (sat)
but when i thought about what the lines was like last year.. i don't stand a chance 'casue i'm not planning on campping out. i will keep these prices as a base for my online price hunting.
thanks for the listing.

a little birdie also just wants to let everyone know how the sale of the merchandise is going to work is like this.. there will be lines set up for each of the items in the ad. the employees will be handing out 1 item per person starting at 5am. I believe that they are limiting the number of people in the lines to match the number of that piece of merchandise they have.. so if they have 50 laptops then only 50 people will be allowed in the line.

I'm looking for a deal on a PSP. I thought sure WalMart would have something.

Can someone who has seen the ad elaborate on this - Power Wheel Ride ons $88? WM sells a few different brands of ride ones and the PW ones come in different sizes and prices. The standard 12V Jeep style PW normally run $230-$270. If you can even just say what is pictured or the exact wording, that might be enought. TIA!!

My wal mart supercenter was open on thanksgivings and the Friday add stuff was on pallets wrapped with black plastic. Those sale items were not allowed in carts till 5 am the manager even yelled at people to put stuff back on the pallet. From what the birdie told me is that every store is going to have a map as to where each item will be located and you will be able to view that map on WalMart.com you will have to put in your zip code and pick your location and then view the map. Sorry that was a lot.

It is a Pink Barbie jeep, or a grey boy's jeep. 6v battery.

Win7, 20" LCD monitor, AMD processor (cpu is not listed), 3gb ram, 320gb hard drive.

I was in a 24 hour store last year and they did not allow us to touch the sale merchandise until 5am. You could stand next to it, but that was it. All electronics were sold from the customer service area and you had to stand in line for that. They had some sort of sign in list, but failed to tell half the line about it so we had to wait until all those were taken care of.

Had to prioritize what we wanted because you could only stand next to one or two items. People who came together positioned one person at the item and one in the electronics line.

Will all these deals be online? When can you start buying things online? (from WalMart AND target). Does that start at midnight, or not til 5am like in the store?

Some of the deals will be online (most of the toys are, some of the electronics, and there are online only deals). I can't remember what time the online sale starts, but it is after midnight and before 5. I remember waking up about 3:00 EST last year and buying some toys.

My WM is open 24hrs and last year what they did was let you in the store (we went at 3am) and they have all the sales stuff in the main
isle ways... they did not let us put anything in our carts until 5am, however you could stand by the item you wanted and be
ready. They had WM workers posted by all the sale items to make sure you did not put anything in your cart until 5am. Actually,
you could not even touch the skids of sale products until 5am. It was kinda hectic around the really good sale products,
people crowded around the items ready to "pounce" at 5.

Is this really complete? I find it hard to believe that WalMart is having zero LEGO promotions for Black Friday.

Any comment on these Sony tivis ? what model is that ? Is it worthy for waiting in line?

Any bedding?

Comforters, sheets, etc?

Thank you!
