Any opinions on legitimacy? I tried a Whois lookup, to no avail.

If it's too good to be true... well.

Come on, use common sense. The site looks poorly made, not to mention all the fake shoes and jerseys they're selling on the same page.

Hmm, expensive sneakers and computers paid through paypal, why in the world would you ever doubt that?

On the plus side though, if you do pay through paypal then you get buyer's protection (I believe they still offer that).

edit:
Oh - and they are using free hosting, yea that sounds creditable.

A free website selling computers and sneakers? Seriously?

I ordered up a few iPhone 4Gs.

Good job senior member!

It's paypal. Super easy process to get your money back. I ordered 2. Lets see how the 3 - 5 business days goes.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Let's just keep it civil. I asked for opinions and expertise, not attitude.

One other thing before I ordered, I checked the account first of the seller. This is the result. I'm taking a chance. We'll see what happens.

Kling. I see nothing wrong with your post. If you are ok with floating $750 bucks for a bit to see if it works then I say go for it. I did. If it doesn't go through easy enough process with paypal to get refunded as the sellers account is a VERIFIED one.

I voted green for you while the other people voted u down because they did little to no investigation. Yes it's a cheesy website, but it's payment system is legit and the real paypal site and your protected as the seller has been verified.

So GREEN GREEN GREEN for you "Mr. SENIOR MEMBER"

Also by the way call the phone number and you can ACTUALLY SPEAK to someone, I'm the phone right now with Kurt and absolutely a REAL DEAL with a Real Person. Good Luck on your orders.

After speaking with Kurt I ordered 2 and he knocked off an additional $50 dollars for each one.

Kurt Price
Cornerstone & Associates Inc.
216-543-3360

There is his contact information. If this is a scam then I would say he's not very bright for giving out a phone number and actually answering the phone. Seems like a nice guy and runs a home business. This is drop shipped from a 3rd party reseller and not directly from Dell.

He confirmed the 3 to 5 day shipping time, with 1 day for processing as he places his orders nightly with his reseller.

Will we ever have products on hand?

Eventually! That is our ultimate goal, but with overhead comes with the rise of costs. Our products have a 25% mark up! We believe that is truly fair an unheard of in this day and age. Our goal is to provide you with The lowest price available for the products we provide. We are looking to grow from results and word of mouth not mark up.

Have you called? Did you not read how his business works? This is last years laptop and I've seen it for $700 dollars before and for $999 so I don't think the deal is unheard of. Also if it flops then paypal has got my back

These appear to be non-current models? Can't find them on Dell's site...

Edit: Oops - missed your post prologix... you said essentially the same thing...

I wonder if these are refurbs since they are non-current...

prologix, I am not as brave as you. But it could be a good deal. Please post if Kurt comes thru with the shipment. Then maybe I can grow a pair and get one for myself.
Also if he is legit, he may become a good source for future deals.
Thanks for stepping up and doing a little research before calling it b.s.

Yeah. I encourage everyone to give him a call. I spoke a good 10 or 15 minutes with him and then I ordered. Also it's from a 3rd party distributor and they are not refurbished. They come with 3 year warranties as well. He also said there was a 3 day buyers remorse so if I wasn't totally satisfied I could send it back and if something failed in the first 45 days he would replace it directly from him.

I'm suppose to get shipping info today or monday. I'll let everyone know how it goes.

As long as you can afford to float the $750 for a few weeks your 100% protected by paypals purchase protection. I've never had an issue with getting my money back when a seller doesn't deliver. The guy is verified with paypal as well. I guess we'll see how everything goes.

The most preculiar thing is the guy who posted the deal isn't even commenting on his own thread...Did he buy as well or just post a question to see if anyone else would? Oh the total was $765 with shipping but on my order I got two and called him and he invoiced me $1415, he discounted them $50 each and only charged a single shipping charge.

I have 1 more question for the guy posting the deal...how did you find this store? It's curious because I've googled it and well alot seems fishy. I'm not saying I'm too worried because paypal's got my back but just an odd store front, with only this post here, no other forums have info on it. I'd just like to know a little more about how it was found.

Sorry my computer was being stupid. I do look forward to healing how it went for you prologix please keep us posted.

That's a little more reassuring as he's selling on eBay and buyers protection is there as well.

Prologix, I have been folllowing this thread and wanted to know the status of your purchase.... Have you received shipping info yet?

. 100% scam . Paypal refunds money if you were careful. feeBay should suspend account.

. Most likely OP saw the link to the website's fraudulent offers in the feeBay listings for the laptops. Putting a link in a listing like that, directing people off to a scam, is not even supposed to be allowed their anyway. Don't know why the guy would give out a phone number though.

solarspin we know of two people in the thread who have now attempted to purchase, let us wait and see the results before throwing poo.

Ok well your 100% wrong about "Paypal refunds money if you were careful." If you read their policies and the seller is verfied then I've never had a problem getting my money back. Paypal has always sided with me and I've heard of them siding with tons of buyers and not sellers. The burden of proof is on the seller to provide the legitimacy of shipment and of proper item sold.

Anyway with that being said. I can still speak to Kurt over the phone but now the paypal links are gone. He said paypal wasn't working out and he's going to start a merchant account. I stated that was unacceptable and I would be requesting a refund from paypal. He said he understood and would refund my purchase in full. I'll let you know if I get it back. Without paypal protection I'm definately out on this deal because that price is really amazing and "Almost" too good to be true.

If anyone else ordered please post your comments, because based on what I've seen, pulling paypal makes this a no go for me and I would not recommend it to anyone else. Kurt seems like a nice guy and all and he does answer his phone but this is a cellular number. I did a reverse lookup on it. Also it's much much more difficult to retrieve accurate cell records online if needed for a fraud investigation, too many go phones or prepaid's out their that are used for fraud day in and day out.

I'll post once I've received my refund or once I've started the return policy through paypal. I told him I'd give it until Monday to show up but after that I notify Pay Pal to start a fraud investigation.

..

The paypal change I think was because of me, I have read to many horror stories of paypal to trust them, however I would have kept using paypal and a merchant account. the reason I trust merchant accounts when I know that its threw a legit site is because I can dispute the change on my card if it does not show services rendered, however paypal on his sales sit would have worked for that part.

did you ever get your item yet?

which person are you referring too?

I was willing to take the risk, he has the money but has not provided the product, and I am unable to get my money back via normal means, I have filed a report with the police, (though doubting the return of the money) eh its what comes with risks. He will still return phone calls for new purchases and emails just not mine. I highly recommend agents dealing with him.

I'm so sorry for posting the deal. Can't remember where I saw it originally, probably eBay. I did not get one myself, went with a smaller laptop. I sincerely hope you get your money back and this jerk gets tossed in jail. This sort of thing would be a felony, I think.

it is and its ok, I had found him earlier anyways so you not posting wouldn't have changed it.

WE GOT RIPE OFF TO.WILL NOT GIVE MONEY BACK.CAN SEE WHY HE DOES NOT WANT TO USE PAYPAL,

WE GOT RIPED OFF TO.WE DID NOT USE PAYAPL AND NOW WE LOST OUR MONEY.WE ALSO HAVE POLICE INVOLVE.WE NOT CALL BACK OR RESPOND TO EMAILS.

It is possible he is needing a certain amount for a bulk order but I am not sure, I am still waiting for the police to do something however.

I can't believe you guys still think you will get your product. There is no way. When u bought 50 computers at a time with Dell, I only got 5% discount or free extras.
