Not a morning person. Hate getting up early. I don't want to get up early, leave before 4 stand in line and not get a laptop. Any thoughts on likelihood that I can get a laptop or is it just a waste of time?
It really depends upon where you live, and what laptop you are going for. If you live in the middle of nowhere, your chances are probably better. In most urban/suburban areas, if you aren't there by at least 8pm on Thanksgiving night, you aren't getting any of the limited quantity items, most likely. Alot of it depends upon how much stuff WM plans on stocking.
In most areas, there are going to be FIVE per store! Some store are going to have more but 5 seems to be the minimum.

What about the WalMart PS3 bundle, does anyone know how many stores will get of these? If the store is in the middle of nowhere, will I be okay showing up a few hours early?
It is a WOT. There are very reasonable laptop deals posted everyday in hot deals, most of which include shipping to your door. . Think about your time and effort to save a small amount of $ relative to your effort.

I live in a suburb of Buffalo, NY. We got in line at BB last year at midnight and got a computer. We are getting in line this year at 10:30 and hoping to snag a super cheapo one for under 200. If you are in a suburb of a huge city like Chicago or LA or NYC get in line NOW. LOL! Seriously though- in most cities I'd think btwn 9-11 will be just fine.
