Hi Everyone!

Thought you'd maxed out on an eBay account awhile back to use bing CashBack on the # of uses on that account (i.e. 20)?

CashBack Program
The Microsoft Bing CashBack Program provides CashBack for up to 40 qualifying purchases per account on www.eBay.com. The amount of CashBack will be determined by eBay, specified at the time of checkout on the "purchase review page" and equal to a percentage of the sale price (excluding shipping and handling fees, insurance fees and other such fees) ("CashBack Rewards"). The maximum amount of CashBack Rewards per qualifying purchase is $200.00 USD. In addition, all CashBack Rewards (including CashBack Rewards earned in connection with purchases made on websites other than www.eBay.com) are subject to the annual $2,500.00 per person cap set forth in the Program Terms.

www.bing.com

search word xbox or gift card

fyi--

YOU CAN TYPICALLY 'DOUBLE DIP" with FW Cash Back! to get 9% back total!!

follow these directions:

1. go to bing.com

2. enter working search term (ie--xbox)

3. click thru link to eBay--SIGN INTO YOUR ACCOUNT

4. search for the item you want

5. click on item to view description. if you've found the item you want to 'buy it now" bid on then.......

6. seperate browser window go to fatwallet.com Cash Back page. click on eBay/earn 1% link

7. brings you back into eBay--you should see the item you want to buy on the front page as "items you've recently viewed"

8. you should still see the 8% Microsoft Cash Back icon at the top of your page when you click into your item again.

9. proceed to checkout

10. you will get 8% and 1% Cash Back!

ymmv if you don't follow directions properly and see the 8% icon above item page!

Mod Edit: We would not expect the merchant to be willing to pay commission to more than one partner for this purchase. In theory, "double dipping" should not work, so please choose your best deal and shop accordingly.

Mistercheap comment--if you see the 8% logo you will DEFINITELY get that as long as you haven't maxed out your live CashBack account/uses. the 8% is paid by msft/paypal.
The 1% is paid by eBay which is typically why the scenario does work. at worst you won't get your 1%, but it won't affect the 8% at any time that I've followed my own instructions. YMMV and please post your own experiences with this. Remember, you'll see the 8% Cash Back instantly, the 1% FW cash takes 1-3 days to show up.

Thanks mistercheap. This is good news.

Also, lets just be careful how widely known we make this double dipping opportunity. I'm all for helping out others, but if it results in the opportunity getting shut down, it doesn't help out anyone . Anyway, thanks for the great info!

double dipping has been around for as long as bing Cash Back. not too concerned because they are each paid by a different merchant (Paypal vs. eBay)
