My son's ipod was stolen. He has purchased alot of music on itunes. I would like to buy him a Mp3 player because they are so much cheaper but he thinks he won't be able to down load the songs he has purchase. Can any one tell me if it is possible to put the songs on a MP3 player? Thanks please email me pongratzta@yahoo.com
I did search and could not pull up anything on this topic
Are the file extections mp3 or m4p? If they are mp3s you will be fine with any player. If they are m4ps technically you will have to burn to a CD/DVD and rip as mp3.
If they are non-protected AAC (.m4a), they can be converted to mp3 directly in the iTunes software. Otherwise as noted above, they can be burned to cd and ripped back to mp3.
