NetFlix, old members may get another 2 week trial YMMV

I was actually going to sign up for a 1-out $8.99 month membership with Netflix. I logged into my first account when lo and behold! I was welcomed back and offered a 2 week trial. They defaulted me to choose the 2-out plan, but the 3-out plan was also available as a free trial, which is the one I chose.

I am just guessing here, but my theory is on-line streaming wasn't available last time I used my membership, which was 6 years ago, so that's why they might be offering a free trial to bring back old members..... and that's mighty cool to give oldsters the same benefits as new members get now. Certainly much easier than adding a new/virtual cc, e-mail addy, etc.... to scam a free trial
