Looking for Internet Service - Boston Area

I'm in the metrowest Boston suburbs and I need to finally get internet service for my house (rental in a house). I know that the big players here are Comcast and Verizon FIOS. Wondering if anyone has experience with RCN.

The RCN website shows the lowest internet standalone rate. Which other companies do you guys have and think it's good (please also share your monthly price)?

I really want to keep the monthly rate as low as possible. I can tolerate less than super high speed as long as it isn't crawlingly slow. I also don't need cable or landline phone, so I'm really looking for internet-only service.
