As far as I know, Wacom is the best. They have several flavors for all different skill levels and needs. I have an Intous3, 6x9, and I use it a lot. The Bamboo is pretty good too. Price generally depends largely on what size you and which line you pick. If you don't need it, I don't recommend the biggest, and possibly not the smallest, though whichever size you do go with you'll get used to it
I see they have Cintio, Intuos, Bamboo. Which one do you recommend for a beginner?
I will use it to draw some animations just for fun. I will not be a cartoonist or something. I think I will also use it to draw some chemical structure illustrations. like the micelle core-shell structures, or certain cell pathways, for my article.
