I decided to drive by the Fry's in Sunnyvale and saw 4 chairs out in front already! Parking lot has 4 cars! One person sleeping on the floor. Unbelievable!!!
As of 8PM PST, there were lines of five or six tents at both Anaheim and Industry Fry's locations. Mind you, since there is no ad, they have no idea what they are lining up for.
Man, that is insane. I am sure the lines have already started at both Atlanta stores too, but I am not passing up my Turkey dinner!

Oh.. they do eat turkey. All it takes is for one person to stand in line while the other goes and grab turkey to go!

I always scope Sunnyvale Fry's before Thanksgiving where they 'always' put out the items (monitors, laptops, computers, printers) at the back where the laptops are. I even took a couple photo shots of the items where I know it's going to be in the ad's. Doing this for 4 years now.. I guess it's a tradition!
I saw four different types of monitors. a 20" HP, 22" Acer and a 23" I forgot which brand.
I did not see any laptops this time.
Three different desktops which I took a picture of. The ORIGINAL prices were ranging from $250 - $500 1. 3000 H210 57098002, Intel Dual Core, 4gb ram, 320gb hd 2. eMachines Intel Pentium, Windows 7 home 640bit, 3GB ram, 320gb hd 3. HP 66202f AMD 8 x2 dual core, 4gb ram, 500gb hd, dvd burner, nvidia geforce 9100, windows 7
I saw A LOT of Samsungs LED's on the side isles. 46", 52" and 55". In January in the state of California, a new law is going to be pass where TV's has to consume less then a certain amount of power. That's why these stores are getting rid of there stocks now since they can't sell them next year.
Anyways, I'm not gonna be out this year, but I want to share this with you all! And to the person I saw lastnight at 12am.. I know who you are because you're always #1 in line every year and I'm always in the top 5.

Frysaddict, I looked up the info on the proposed California law on energy consumption as it pertains to tv's, dvd's etc. We don't really need a new tv now but wanted to get in on the good BF deals. Your info gave me something to think about. Thanks for the heads up.
But with Fry's being nationwide, why wouldn't they just ship whatever is leftover to non-CA states?

Since California is the largest state in electronics consumption by far, it makes more sense to do this now since the law will trickle down to the other states which already is in process. If you want a TV, this is the best time to get one because the prices are so cheap!

people are nuts to stay in line...while u can buy most online...
Not always the case, as I do most of my shopping online actually. But if I took a wild stab at it, I would say my time for standing in line doing nothing is worth at least $20/hour. So for my 5 hours of waiting, if I can save over $100, it's worth it.
