I purchased an Antec case from Newegg on Black Friday that had a $30 rebate. The form said "If you have not received your check after 60 days, please send inquiries to rebates@antec.com".
60 days have passed and there's no rebate. So I emailed rebates@antec.com. I got an "out of office" autoreply that basically said nothing, except it included the following: "To check status of your rebate submission: Please email your identifying information to rebatestatus@antec.com. Please allow at least four weeks from the time you first submit your information before checking back with us for status."
So I emailed the same info to rebatestatus@antec.com and got no response.
I then went onto the antec website and opened a trouble ticket (where there is a specific trouble ticket category for rebate issues). They responded "Please email rebates@antec.com for issues regarding your rebate status".
Ever feel like you're going in circles?
Does anyone have any more contact info for antec rebates, or any suggestions?
RebateStatus.com was Continental Promotions Group, a company that went bankrupt back in 2008.
Here's a website about Antec rebate problems. It says you can submit scans of your submission to rebateproblems@antec.com. If it doesn't help, phone Antec at 1-800-222-6832 and file a complaint at BBB.org.
Thanks, but this was a recent rebate and it was submitted directly to Antec; CPG was nowhere in the loop. It's just that I got an autoreply email from Antec that mentioned "rebatestatus@antec.com" as a contact address.
I generally am wary of rebates that have no phone number or website to check status; against my better judgement I went for this one, and now it's turned into a pain.
