Just came from my local Dollar Tree and they haven't stocked the TaxCut for a $1 this year? Just wondering if anyone has seen this for the 2009 Tax Program? Remember last year you got the Federal on cd with one efile code for $1. It was on a display up near the cash registers.
Talked to a store mmanager and there are some 2009 Taxcuts in the larger stores in central Indiana. I will keep looking.

Yes, I saw them just after Xmas (Fed version only down an aisle not at the register) in the North Massapequa, NY store. They also had the 2007 & 2008 versions mixed in so check to make sure you get the 2009 if you find them near your location. Hope you find it.

I've picked it up the last two years there and haven't had any luck this year. I checked in Jan. and early Feb. The store manager didn't know if they'd get it or not. I have to check again this week. (Harrisburg PA)

I went to Dollar Tree in Roseville, CA yesterday and they said they didn't get it this year. Any suggestions on where to get Tax Cut Standard 2009 cheap?

can't find it anywhere this year

Download H&R Block at Home 2009 Basic (formerly TaxCut) for $7.96 at transparent.com.
Price $9.95. Use code "retailmenot" at checkout to get 20% discount.
Remove the "backup disk" from your shopping cart (unless you really want it).
It also provided a copy of Deduction Pro. (I haven't installed it.)

When downloading, be sure to click on both download buttons -- one is for the tax software, the other is for Deduction Pro. Your e-file code will be shown on the screen immediately after you pay (together with the download buttons), be sure to write it down.

The Basic version includes a code for 5 federal e-files. It can do UNLIMITED paper files.
It does not include state software. If you need state software, you are better off looking for one of the deals on the Deluxe version with state.

The Basic version can do just about every federal form, including long Form 1040, itemized deductions, Schedules A/B/C/D/E, etc. If you find that you want the Deluxe version, after you install the program and run it, it will offer to upgrade to Deluxe for $10 (state not included).

Anybody has a free e-file code? Every code can be used for 5 e-filling.

Please PM if you have one. Thanks!
