I was in Home Depot today and saw and heard things about a "spring black friday" I think they did something like this before, but I'm not sure.
I didn't hear any noise about this, which seems odd. But I did see things marked as "black friday" merchandise in the store along with lots of new displays with what I thougth were some pretty cheap prices. Homelite chain saw, weed wacker or something else for $28 each. Don't quote me on that because I just did a quick look on the way out.
Has anyone heard about this or have details of the "deals"? Since Friday is two days away... is it this friday?

I was in Home Depot today (3/17/10) looking at plants and one of the flower vendors mentioned that it starts tomorrow and lasts for 3 days. Some annuals are .99 and some brands of mulch are "buy one get one free". She also mentioned something about some patio furniture being on special but that's all I know. She thought the ad would come out in Thursday's paper. Hope this helps!

yes Black Friday (spring) starts today till next 4 days.
