You get this
Note: Limit one per customer, nontransferable. Minimum purchase requirement must be met with purchases to which no other coupon or instant savings offer applies. May not be combined with any other coupon. Coupon must be surrendered. No copies/facsimiles. No cash/credit back. Not valid on services, gift cards, postage stamps, prior purchases, or any purchases from Awards.com™ or on other provider Web sites. Tax and shipping not included in calculating minimum purchase.

the only line I don't like about is "Not valid on previous purchase"

Some A$$ managers will actually refuse to do a return and rebuy for you because of that.

Usually I will request for change form of payment, IE credit card to cash, cash to credit card

Well, if the same price now it will work.
If not, no deal....

My concern is:
The wording on the coupon says nothing about the coupon not good with an instant coupon on the laptop.
They may try and say the disclaimer when you click on
how to redeem
is applicable...

Can in-store only coupons be used when paying for orders placed at a kiosk?

If paid for in store, yes.

My email received a 15% off coupon and a $75 off laptop coupon

15% - don't know why you would want to use it since there is a 20% off but here it is.

The 15% off coupon is good on the entire purchase -- not just one item like the 20% off coupon -- and if your store is staffed by graduates of the police academy of coupon usage it might be of value.

Did anybody notice the spelling on the 15% off coupon?

your in store purchase exclusing all computers*

If only these didn't expire so soon! Less than 2 weeks until Missouri has a tax holiday on computers

I can fix that just in case the clerk notices it.

Anybody know a good laptop deal to use this coupon with?

Would Walmarts accept this coupon for their $300 laptop?

Whenever I go to any store that is going to try to sell me a warranty or upsell me stuff I use this line when purchasing an item.

"Before you even ask me, I do not want any extended warranty and I do not wish to purchase any accessories. Do not bother trying to convince me to purchase a warranty or attempt get me to purchase any other addon items as I only want this item I am purchasing."

Seeing reactions from the sales associates is pretty awesome too. If they continue to try to push stuff on you, ask them if they understand the english language and understood what you said. If you tell them straight forward before they even ask, 95% of the time they will not bother you, but you might get rung out by another employee, so make sure you repeat to that employee too. I told this to a Staples manager a few weeks back when i bought a laptop there, which I later returned, but he continued to try to push the warranty. I said did you not understand what I said? I do not want to pay $200 for a warranty thats 50% of the price of the laptop. I will take my chances and I'd rather keep my $200 in my pocket now then never have a problem and waste money that isn't necessary. He then told me well if you don't use the warranty in 3 years you get 100% of your money back. At this point I was about ready to start cursing and or walkout. I calmy told him listen buddy, I know what you are trying to do, I used to work in retail. All these warranty plans are to help you build store revenue up and you hope you sucker people into buying these warranties hoping they never have an issue.

The smart money would be to use this coupon along with a $25 off 75 or 100 purchase on a backpack, and net yourself a tidy little profit.

At my store they never ask me to buy any warranty .............maybe they suspect I am from FW

.............and maybe the title of this thread should read:

Staples 20% off One Item, 15% off your Entire Order, or $75 off a Laptop with Printable Coupons

My concern is:

That is referring to the minimum purchase requirement, which there is none for this coupon. So it should be fine.

They've changed the way the price appeared on the receipt after coupon. I am afraid you'll only get the after discount amount back in rewards if you purchase a backpack with coupon. In other words, no money making.

darisma said: Would Walmarts accept this coupon for their $300 laptop?

WM matches locally advertised prices.

WHat was the verdict on buying the backpacks with the coupons and then getting the rebate (on the full price or discounted price)

Thanks OP! Now, is there any laptop worth using this coupon on?

Shame it can't be used on a netbook.

Had the warranty pitch happen when I bought a netbook last week. Cost me $60 OTD after ink rewards, $50 coupon, etc. Staples CSR seriously pushed me on the warranty for about 5-10 minutes - the warranty would cost more than the netbook itself. I understand these folks are measured on selling this crap warranty, but really, common sense should have told the CSR to stop and move on.

Not to mention, the EasyTech rep who checked me out had absolutely zero proper sales training. She was an introverted nerd, and introverted nerds - knowledgeable about computers and tech as they may be - make the poorest of salespeople.

On topic to this deal, I got a 15% off total purchase coupon in my email, rather than the 20% off one item. Either coupon results in a small "profit" on 2 reams of the $.01 AR paper this week.

The 20% excludes netbooks and desktop computers. Can it be used on a $500 "laptops"?
