Good buys on both laptops!

I bought and paid the way I did to avoid the sales pitch's.
However in doing both on one order, being over $500 a manager is required to put thru the sale, usually nothing to it....
Checkers says she needs over limit approval....He puts in his numbers and I am on my way.
He did hit me up to buy the really free if not used warranties....one no and he was on his way....

LoL my bad, I guess it never hurt to try

Wife bought a laptop, a backpack, and a whole bunch of stationary items today. I handed in the $75 and the 20% and totally forgot about the 15%. Could have saved another $5-$10!!!

Clearly rookie mistake on my part!

did the 20% work on the laptop or not?

Nono, you can't stack the $75 + 20% + 15% ..... YMMV for $75 + 20%

20% will not work on any computers including laptop from what it says on the coupon.

hey lok214,

I wasn't asking you...you weren't there...he said he got a laptop on the order. Please let the person who posted the story answer...your answer is not helpful at all RED!

I was able to stack the 25 off 75 cleaning and breakroom(purchased online, Kiosk, paid in store) Purchased a few itims in store, handed the 15% - scaned and discounted online and in store purchases.

I would like a 14" Toshiba laptop, with the $75 dollars off coupon.

When I go to the Staples site, and put in "Toshiba Laptops" these are all I see.

Toshiba Satellite L655D-S5066 15.6" Laptop
AMD Turion™ II Dual Core P520 Processor (2.3GHz)
4GB installed memory

Toshiba Satellite A665D-S6051 16" Laptop
AMD Phenom™ II Quad Core Mobile P920 Processor (1.6GHz)
4GB installed memory

I want an Intel chip.

I wonder if they cut out most of the Toshiba models, because of the $75 coupon, or the site is crudely developed?

What are the coupons with code 66202 and 23922 ?

Mr. C, you really need to cut/paste a new attitude from another site. Your attitude has really SUCKED lately (snapping at people, redding reposts, but being defensive about your reposts, etc). Lighten up, it's not the end of the world if someone tries to answer a question (if you really only wanted xxxx to answer, then PM them). Get away from the PC once in a while, and take a breath of fresh air (rather than inhaling that FAR canned air ). Enjoy today, worry about reposts tomorrow.

I thought Staples takes coupons 1 week past the expiration date, mine does. What about the $50 off $200 exp 7/24?

I also heard that before, the lady over the phone 1800-333-3330 said the system should have a 3 days grace period to accept the coupon.

SoBe said: Not good with HP toners or ink cartridges. Staples has continued to follow OD's format which is a shame. Allowing HP was what set their coupons apart.
I was able to use the coupon successfully this evening in an HP ink purchase. Cashier scanned it and the 20% came right off without a hitch.

Picked up a demo HP dm3-1130us for $500 (closeout price) - $25 demo - $50 recycling (old emachines celeron desktop) - $75 coupon - $50 rebate = $300. Picked up the Hannspree 25" monitor with the 20% off coupon for $160. Had a gift card to knock off a few more dollars. Used SPG AMEX to get an additional year's warranty - manager was pushing their ext warranty *hard*.

Why bother with that one, the new is for $75

man comon they are just saying good job in another way lol

Today I'm planning on buying the HP G72-250US 17.3" Laptop (HP G72-260US 17.3 LED backlit widescreen i3-350M CPU) at Staples using the $75 off coupon + $50 mail in rebate from HP (http://h30014.www3.HP.com/offers/us/pdf_printable_coupon/1519_NIE-1N-N05910_smarterstart_50or30MIR.pdf). I hope HP takes my rebate, they say they don't take them from Staples.com, but never say anything about just Staples.

Anyways, the price breakdown will look like this:

Reg: $749.98
Save: -$52.00
Now: $697.98
Instant Savings: -$98.00
Price after savings: $599.98

$75 Coupon: - $75
Mail in Rebate: -$50

Total: $475 before taxes

Any thoughts before I go through with this? I'm just looking for a deal on something I can do some home video editing on (so was thinking i3 at least), but I don't game and liked the 17" size on this.

RE:

Those are instant coupons with the laptops.
Each one had one.

Those instant coupons are the ones some managers/stores used to disallow other dollar off coupons when those coupons said,
cannot be used/combined with others.
Using was YMMV.
Current coupons do not state that, however when you click on
how to redeem
on the eMail page they are sent from there is the disclaimer..(but not on the current coupona)..go figure....

Sneek peek
eMails today
draw your attention to the 20% and $75 off coupons expiring tomorrow the 31st....

Any bets on if they will renew high dollar off coupons later this week?

This is what you get when you click on
how to redeem
Come on
Staples be consistent....
Whats up with limit one. Explain.
Actual coupons tells cashier to scan once for all latops being bought.
As shown on my receipt, both laptops got the $75 off

Note: Limit one per customer, nontransferable. Minimum purchase requirement must be met with purchases to which no other coupon or instant savings offer applies. May not be combined with any other coupon. Coupon must be surrendered. No copies/facsimiles. No cash/credit back. Not valid on services, gift cards, postage stamps, prior purchases, or any purchases from Awards.com™ or on other provider Web sites. Tax and shipping not included in calculating minimum purchase.

Funny you should post this nomoney,

If people are thin skinned at times, that's life. I get red for my posts many times and don't post up a tirade about it. I rarely see you say anything nice about anything I post, all you do is make sarcastic remarks about copy/pasting posts from other sites and you've done that many times.

I post up alot of deals and you win some and lose some, I think Butcherboy, MISURICK, Henny, etc all understand the hit/miss nature of mulitple posts when it's hard to keep track at times. Yes, I do red reposts, especially ones that are so obvious, where the deal has been hanging around the front page most of the day and frequently THEY ARE OTHER PEOPLES DEALS reposts, not mine. So it's not just to toot my horn.

So if my attitude was snippy to that poster, and maybe it was, it wasn't personal, nor is anything I post on FW and noone should take offense. It's all in good fun, I stand my ground on my posts. If the mods think they are a repost, out of line, they can lock it, remove it, etc. Noone is perfect. Mod alert it if it's inappropriate or a repost, but please...don't police the board looking for an audience.

I was able to use the 20% off for one item stacked along with the 25 off 75 coupon here: http://www.Staples.com/sbd/cre/marketing/coupons/7966_offers/offer2.html. Didn't seem to matter whether the items I bought were for breakroom and cleaning items or not.

At first the cashier noted I'd have to choose one or the other - until I told her that I believed both would work together. She scanned them both in and when it rang up okay, she just said 'cool' and shrugged.

Bought a desk that was on sale for $49.99 and the advertised $39.99 office chair - after tax and to get them delivered to my home (used the order system in-store since the desk was out of stock) we got everything for just under $60.

The coupon will be expired on 31st but might still work on sunday per rep on the phone

grabbed the twin turbo labeler, was $199.99-$25\100-20%= $135 - $100 ser = $35

My local Staples had the HP DV4-2170US (14" with I5 processor, 4 gig, 320 hard drive) marked down to $599.90 - $75 coupon - $50 HP rebate) I thought that was a great deal for this configuration. Sku # 851071. The only problem I had was I purchased and extended warranty and it took part of the coupon off the laptop and part off the warranty. Which means when I get the warranty refund (Store credit) it wouldn't be the full price. I'm going to take it back and do the laptop seperate with the $75 coupon.

I got a $90 backpack and $10 in school supplies. Used the 20% coupon for $18 off the backpack and then used a $25 off $100 coupon and paid with a $60 ink rewards check. Total deal was 57.92, got a coupon back for $2.08. The pens I bought for $4.99 have a $4.74 rebate on them.

After she rang every thing up I gave her the 20% off single item coupon. She said she wasn't sure if she was suppose to take it on the backpack because it was free. She called the mgr, but scanned the coupon while waiting and it took off the $18. When the mgr came he said he didn't think it would work and she told him that it did take it off. He said well ok, it will just take it off the rebate amount. I said that's ok, it reduces my out of pocket for now. Hope everything works the way it is suppose to. Looking for a $4.74 rebate on the pens and $89.99 on the backpack.

I had trouble on another order for paper towels that I ordered from the kiosk. They finally got everything to work, but the mgr said they were getting stricter on coupons. He pointed out the terms about not to be applied to any item with other discounts already. If you follow those terms on the coupons to the letter, you wouldn't be able to use them on anything except regular priced items.

I am expecting to see $100 off coupons for laptops this week....

Last week when , the $50 off ended, I said, they will bring it back and was told no by one of us.
They not only did but made it for $75 and also brought 15% and 20% off coupons.

I was eyeing the Netgear WNDR3700 for a while now. The manager was kind enough to accept the expired in the mid-week $30 off $150 and combined it with 20% of, so I walked out with WNDR3700 for $90. I haven't seen this router hit it this low...

is the 20% coupon (expires july 31st) working for anyone else?
