Nice! My wife and I did this on our honeymoon (we're young and broke), and actually had a pretty good time. The river boat was fun, and the food was ok. It was my first experience with veined Shrimp Anyways, I'd go again, especially at this price.
Jungle Queen is nice, for a tourist. I live in Fort Lauderdale and used to work at a dive shop at the same marina. Best time to go is summer and fall in off season. If you go in the winter, this boat will hold 550 people, a cattle boat. I have heard some people say that it was great and others say that it was the longest 4 hours of their life. It is a cruise that will do a narrative tour along the intercoastal to Port Everglades and up the New River to their "island" for dinner. Once again I have heard both sides about the food from great to "what is that". I would definitely recommend it for tourists or new comers to Fort Lauderdale.
One thing to note Park at the Bahia Mar for $5 flat rate all day. Many will park across the street for at least $13 if not more. If you park at Bahia Mar don't be in a hurry to leave, they have one parking attendant to pay so traffic will back up...deal with it. Finally get their early it leaves 6pm SHARP. Plan on parking at 5:30pm and once you have confirmed your tickets then stroll around the marina and take some pictures.
Caution of the fishing fleet at the same dock, most are drunk at that point in the evening, not going to fight but they say things with out thinking.
