Reviews at Amazon are mixed. It's hard to tell if it's because the unit is flawed or the users are idiots, but it would seem that the range is not as advertised.
Also, this unit is single probe; it keeps track of the food's internal temp only. If you're also looking for something that tracks the grill/smoker's temp, <waves hand real Jedi-like> this isn't the unit you're looking for.
Really good price if it actually works reliably, though.
Worth noting, there are a couple of different models listed on Amazon. One is ET-901. The other is ET-901B. One is silver, the other is black. Unsure if it denotes a later model or a color variant~
