http://www.dailysteals.com/

Sony
Need a Sony coupon that earns 3.0% Cash Back?

Don't buy it unless u plan to use it with a cellphone with 2.5mm jack. The cable is extremely clumsy.

Down for a set - for $8 worth a shot based on the price and reviews on Amazon.

can't be that bad, more postitive reviews over at cnet http://reviews.cnet.com/headphones/mdr-ex71sl-fontopia-headphone...

Some people have disparaged this deal in the past because they thought the buds were fake.

I believe that Sony sources its product in China, so these may be genuine, old stock, rejects, or fakes

Does anyone know of the reputation of the vendor in this regard?

I bought this on eBay. Anyway, the connection of the ear piece plugging into the piece with the mic... when I press in all the way like it suppose to I could only hear from one side, only when I pull it out a bit that I could hear both side. Any1 else having the same problem?

These sound good if you don't mind the adapter. It's worthless if you want to wear them doing anything active.

I'm looking for something to wear while lying in bed (with one ear into the pillow) that won't hurt - how well would these work for that, or do you recommend something else?

This is a good deal if the product is genuine. The vendor admits that these are "bulk packaging", which sounds suspicious to me.

I got these from a sale at eebayy too. Fake or not, the ones I got had good build/sound quality.

Fakes will generally have smaller drivers, so your bass will be weak or non-existent.
Also, flimsier cables that tend to short out.

These ear phones are not good.I bought the same one from Amazon and after a few months the left ear phone stopped working.
Sound quality is just ok.

I bet these are fake, I mean 90%+ off MSRP?? Of course they are fake

I got these from a Sony Outlet store in CA. Paid $8 for a refurbished plain box. The headphones sound very good for something this cheap. Am not a Sony fanboi, this is one product that's worth its price though

Maybe the MSRP is a hoax?

Great product, it does well, in for 1.

My last phones were eaten by my printer. I'll roll the dice with these.

These were popular back some years back though, if that's what they're quoting for MSRP. I remember using these back around 2006? They do have fairly good sound if you like bass and treble -- definitely better than any $3 headphones you could pick up.
