Buy a $25 or greater value gift card at Chipotle and bring in receipt on next visit for free burrito, bowl, or tacos.
Buy the gift card by December 24, 2010. Redeem the free item by December 31, 2010.
Last year I was able to buy gift card first and use it to purchase a burrito. Others reported being able to redeem the free item on the same visit, YMMV. Bring back the receipt and order double meat with guacamole to maximize value.

I love Chipotle, their online order system is really easy too, and lets you skip the line when you pick up.

Hmmm was there today and heard the people in front of me talking to the manager who stopped making my bowl to go to the register to discuss something about $25 dollars...but I didn't catch the details. So I bet this is going on in South Florida here by my very informal observation.

Use your Discover card to get 5% Cash Back through the end of December as well.
What? I hate Chipotle because they are stingy, so I'll get quadruple guac. I'm not passing on free food.

Sweet! Thanks OP. I really am annoyed by places that do the "on your next visit" scheme though. Come on people, really? Is it technically my next visit if I walk out the door and come back in with a different hat on?

Is it technically my next visit if I walk out the door and come back in with a different hat on? Some locations allow the free item to be redeemed on the same visit. YMMV. Lemme know if the hat trick works. Reminds me of Halloween (changing costumes and getting more candy), but I digress.

Also, if you feel unethical, you can pay with multiple credit cards and you'll get one receipt per each card.
When you get one of these, check out the legal fine print on the back of the card.
Some of the phrases:
* "Please refrain from eating this card."
* "You can try to use it some place else, but it won't be accepted and they will probably laugh at you."
* "Chipotle is not responsible for for unauthorized use of this card -- namely someone other than the right owner using it to score a burrito."
Nice to see they have a sense of humor.

Of course everybody has a different taste and you don't deserve a red for your comment. However, I recommend you to eat at Chipotle again. They probably use the highest quality ingredients among the fast food restaurant chains and to me their food is awesome for fast food.
Being that Chipotle is a national chain, while there isn't a Whataburger or a Del Taco within a thousand miles of me, your post is not helpful.

horrorfreakshow said: um why is this a good deal? Taco bell and just about every other resturant does the same. It's a good deal if you like Chipotle, go there anyways, and like to have a free $7-10 item.
OSURules2002 said: Can't believe that no one has yet come in with the "You know they are owned by McDonalds?!" line yet... McDonald's sold its share of Chiptole back in 2006. So people can now go there guilt-free or buy stock in CMG (Chipotle Mexican Grill).

One question, can I buy a giftcard from one store and get the free meal from another store? Or do I need to go back to the same store where I bought my giftcard to get the free meal?

I think he means showing the $25 GC receipt to different or same location to get free burritos until the promo is expired, no?

I haven't had a problem redeeming the receipt at a different location. You can also ask the store before you buy if you're worried.

I don't think they will let you buy a $25 gift card with a $25 gift card and then turn in the receipt for a free item. But let me know if it works. (Highly doubt it though.)

Good deal OP. Gonna go and do it!
I only eat there once in a while for lunch, but when I do, I skip dinner... that's how full their meals make me!
Oh, for those wondering what they consume, here's the nutrition calculator. Not for the faint of heart (Chipotle might use best ingredients, but its still fast food)

Ok normally I'm all for screwing over crap companies....but Chipotle is awesome. They're cheap, the ingredients are top notch and their locations are nice. It's idiots like the ones posting that turn otherwise good companies into retail police and ruin it for the rest of us.
The one thing I have learned about people like you is that karma ALWAYS hits them again in some way.

Don't think about only getting fat or having high cholesterol. Eating meat with no added hormones is a good reason to eat at Chipotle for me.
