So this deal gives you 2 roundtrip vouchers, not points. Can you sell the vouchers? I looked on eBay and there aren't any for sale...
There is also an older deal still available. old deal It gives 16 points and a gift card for $500. How many points do you need for a round trip? Is the card only good for Southwest travel, or can it be sold or used elsewhere? This one doesn't charge the $59 for the first year.

and no fee for checked bags
and cheapest price for taking a carry on pet with you.. Just $75 each way ....Took my Yorkie twice and had no issues..
Has anyone who got approved gotten confirmation from the csr at Chase that this is in fact 2 roundtrips and if it is 32 credits, the same as all the other SWA 2 RT offers?
(As soon as 16 credits is in your RR account a RT voucher is mailed to you automatically by SWA).
Thank you so much for your post. . . we were approved immediately. GOD is truly amazing and wonderful! I wanted to visit Texas for my nephew's graduation and wasn't sure how I would pay for it. Thank you for posting this you are truly a blessing . . .

I just called SW. You get two vouchers good for anywhere, under the basic program with blackout days and limited availability. Or you can combine them and use them for a premium ticket good whenever there are seats available. They are good for 1 year from when they are mailed, but can be extended within a year of expiration for a year for $50; which stretches it to 3 years. So, if SW can be believed...

Is this correct that you can fly on high cost days? I asked the question on a similar thread and was told that I would have a hard time booking a flight that I needed (e.g. no weekend flights). If it is easy to use the flights, this is a no brainer for me to take my ski trip to Colorado. Can someone who has used these vouchers please verify?

Southwest saysyou can use both vouchers to fly on high cost days. Bear in mind that it will take a few weeks to get you CC after you are approved, and 8 weeks (so they say) to get your vouchers after you first use the CC. So unless you want to go skiing in April you might be out of luck.

So, it is not 32 credits, but works the same way.
Thanks so much for doing this Toller. This Chase/SWA connection is way confusing. I suspect it's because unlike CO & UA where Chase has the miles to give out, the bonuses here come largely from SWA, even if Chase foots the bill. Probably why the ad is so confusing with the difference between the SWA language and the Chase language, even tho both are on Chase web address. Similarly in the 16/500 biz ad it says fee waived 1st year in the ad but in the T&C it doesn't. I think it's prudent to print the ad one applies under.
Since there's no biz version of this offer I'll probably go with the biz 16/500 and this for personal. I can do the $5K spend on one card with a minimum of coins and not having to pay $150 for a $5K balance transfer.
I doubt there's any way a better SWA offer will ever come along.
Decision pending : ( Called a number, they couldn't do anything just quote the "wait 2 weeks". Note, I was insta approved earlier in the week so maybe 2 is too many.
Wifey got approved immediately. Mine pending. She also got a lot of junk mails for CC application invitation and I did not get any. We have a lot of CC under my names.

I recall somethnig about a limit to the numbe of Chase CC. I was all set fo this for me a nd my wife. After my application, I'm not sure I want to even try for my wife.
75k AA miles was with Citi and not chase.
Oh yeah. You're right - thanks for pointing that out! My wife just applied and got approved instantly - I'm glad you said something. And thanks OP - great deal!
qwqwqw said: I took a minute to call Chase about this promotion. I asked about the fine print, what the restrictions are, blackout dates, etc. The guy told me, "No restrictions." I clarified, "No restrictions, at all? Not for mileage, dates, distance, ticket price??" He told me none at all.
I then did ask about domestic vs international flights (as they do fly out of the US), and he said that is a restriction, domestic only. So there ya go.
I was instantly approved. However, on my credit report, it shows an inquiry coming from First USA Bank, not Chase. This is definitely the only type of application for credit I've filed in the last two years. So, it can't be from anything else. Anyone else seeing this?
Anyone know how long this deal will last? I'm closing on a house on the 16th of feb and don't want to screw that up. I have a feeling I'm screwed either way. Green for OP though great find!
I applied for my wife for the 1 free RT flight last week and she got the 'we'll send you something in the mail within 15 days' response. Today I just applied for this one in my name and got instant approval. It's funny because I filled them out identically and we have virtually the same credit score. Makes you wonder what their computers are looking at.
Thanks, just got approved and sent my wife to sign up for it as well. If she gets approved that'll cover our travel to Florida for our next cruise with the kids!
diswes said: CuBua said: can you cancel after one annual fee?yea, interested in this question as well....
I plan to cancel about 2 seconds after I confirm receipt of the 2 SouthWest certificates. The annual fee likely comes right up front and again each year thereafter on your anniversary date. This is not a long term contract - you can cancel anytime, but you'll want to keep it long enough to make at least one purchase which is required per terms to get your reward.
