You do know that you can't give yourself diabetes by eating/drinking sugary foods right? It's not like your body can only deal with a set amount of sugar in your lifetime. I'm in great shape and drink sugary, high-calories juices and smoothies all the time, as long as you aren't gaining dozens of pounds from them you aren't at any increased risk of diabetes at all.
BTW the wildberry smoothie is delicious. I wish they had more flavors available though.

Just used our first coupon! Got the new mango pineapple (very good) and strawberry banana. The smoothies are a lot less sweet than I last remember which I like.
Funny side story: the girl at McDonald's took our coupon and told us "okay, so buy one, get a small free" - and I told her that it's a traditional buy one get one free coupon, with the free one being the cheaper one.. We ordered two mediums, I wasn't ordering one large and one small and expecting the large to be free or anything. I pointed to the wording on the coupon and she said "yeah, buy one get a small free?" - long story short, she had to call a manager over who looked at her and told her "yeah, buy one get one free, so just make the cheaper one free, the free one doesn't have to be a small" and then the girl said ohhhh I didn't see that on the coupon. DUH.

Just tried to use the coupon, the late night manager told me she would accept it this time but they normally don't take online coupons because they get fraudulent ones. I told her that it has a bar code and I printed it out from the mc donalds website. She gave me the coupon back and told me just to keep it. Not sure if anyone else had the same problem but why would mc donalds offer a coupon online and then not condone it at the restaurant?

Some of them are just being pains. Also, sometimes in the drive through, they are very bad about accepting coupons.
Gotta say though, the mango smoothie is good and the coupons worked for me.

The frozen lemonade rocks. Way yummier (less sweet) if you tell them not to add the strawberry syrup. That's my MO.

What do you think is in virtually every single MCD item? HCFC.
I really hope people realize just how much sugar is in these things. Take a look for yourself:
(and yes, there is added sugar in those "natural" fruit smoothies)
For those who say "who cares?", drinking one of these could be the equivalent of downing two sodas. If you feel a buzz afterwords, you'll know why.
This isn't meant as trolling, but to inform people since MCD will never list the nutrition facts on the side of the cups.

I agree. The lemonaide is terrible, and what made it worst for me is it took 20 minutes to get it since there was a long line of people waiting for speciality drinks

For some reason "ZOMG!!! There's calories in FOOD!!!" posts always reminds me of the cheesy, breathless "It's made out of PEE-PULLL" line from Soylent Green.
Shouldn't eat only Frappes, smoothies, and/or frozen lemonade as my sole source of nutrition. Who'd have thunk it???

Awesome coupon! Went to use it today and the drive through cashier hadn't seen it yet. She called the manager to key the code and the manager was so preoccupied she keyed it twice giving us 2 frappes for free.

I went to McD's on Friday and was also told that they do not accept internet coupons. They asked some "supervisors" who were sitting there and they agreed to accept the coupon "this time".
