I love this headset in use with my PS3. It lasts a good 4-5 hours and I don't think I've had the popcorn sounding issue that some headsets have such as a dreadful LG one I previously used.

I have one of these and for the price it cant be beat. I had another one that was near free and people would say it sounds as if I was talking through a toilet. This model has good sound quality and is a steal for the price. Good find OP!

Thanks!I am averaging 7 weeks. I and my family have performed dozens of these rebates.

EDIT: Just a note, I went back and counted. I have personally done 28 of these rebates. All 28 were received (100%). This does not include the 100% receive rate for my family members. This is a VERY reliable rebate, and one of the easiest out there.

You have about a 40% chance of getting the rebate IF you follow all the directions exactly.

Some will argue about that statement but do a search on this subject.

Samsung may not be the worst at rebates but they are definitely WAY up there.

Be sure to PRINT CAREFULLY IN CAPITAL LETTERS. Believe it or not, I've seen rebates rejected because of this.

It looks like the rebate offer number (Offer 11-49282) is same with the TigerDirect.com rebate offer back in couple weeks. I applied for those rebates, I am not sure if this one would be accepted if I apply.

It would be helpful if you also add which direction(s) should we ignore. The search facility on this site is not that efficient.

When I received my headset, there was another store sticker on top of the UPC sticker and my rebate was rejected because of this. I then chatted with one of their CS people and she changed my rebate status to valid. Hope to receive my rebate now.

Can anyone comment on what they are mailing in as the "receipt" for this purchase? I got 4 emails from Newegg (Order Confirmation, Payment Charged, Invoice, & Shipping Information), but none of them specifically states "receipt."

I typically use my vendor invoice or the emailed order confirmation and Samsung has approved both.
