It has been reported on SD that McAfee through its rebate processor, Parago, has started to enforce a one per product restriction on its rebates. Until this is sorted out, submitting more than one rebate per product is not advised even if the rebate has a different rebate number and different offer period. The rebate invalidation message has been reported as "Your rebate request did not pass our audit process".

Here's my question I bought the Iolo product last week, cut off the proof of purchase seal, was ready to put it in the envelope and it got lost, spent over an hour looking for it and couldn't find it. Is there any chance my rebate will be validated without the POP seal, if I send them the manual, CD, or cut off part of the box which would verify my purchase?

Call the rebate center and ask if there is another form of POP they will accept. Unlikely it will be validated without the POP or some other proof. Did you make a copy? If so, it is more likely that you mail the rebate, have it denied for missing POP, and see if they will then accept a copy.

Re the one rebate rule, does that mean you can't send a rebate for both the System Mechanic and the System Mechanic Pro or are the 2 considered different?

I bought a copy of iolo System Mechanic Professional [388830] at OD and used a 20% off Staples coupon. So the price I paid is like 55.99, right after the software line on the receipt.
Please be careful with the upgrade rebate. There is a $30 upgrade form on my box, but it is expired. the tag in my OD shows $29.99 after 1 rebate, so it does not have the upgrade rebate in their system and there was not upgrade rebate form from the register.
Both rebate forms($40 plus the $30 one) state "Rebate amount paid to customer for single or combined offers may not exceed product purchase price.". Do they really enforce this?

The CONTINUING notation is that each of the upgrade rebates is long lived and is limit one so if you have submitted that rebate in the past your upgrade rebate(s) will not be validated this time around.
couponhed said: Does anyone know where to find the Iolo proof of purchase seal (different from the UPC)? I can't seem to find it anywhere on or in the box. I do not have an uncut-up box lying around but isn't the proof of purchase right next to the upc code?
