Office Depot FAR software beginning 08/28/2011 (maybe better than FAR with competitors coupon)

Five titles advertised as FAR. None of the titles have strictly new rebates. While the standard rebate for Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 is technically continuing, it is the first time the rebate has appeared in the Office Depot FAR software threads.

It has been reported on SD that McAfee through its rebate processor, Parago, has started to enforce a one per product restriction on its rebates. Until this is sorted out, submitting more than one rebate per product is not advised even if the rebate has a different rebate number and different offer period. The rebate invalidation message has been reported as "Your rebate request did not pass our audit process".

In-store price for KIS is $69.99. My store also accepted the $10 off $50 Office Max coupon. Net result is a positive $20.00 - $5.42 tax = $14.58.

Note : KIS 2012 is available on the Kaspersky website. Download and install from the website and use the installation key in this package. That way you don't have to install twice.

Yes this is the same SKU and UPC that you list above. The receipt shows a $79.99 price and a $10.00 Discount.

Is Office Depot going McAfee??? I just received a rejection on 441-88 saying it was not combinable with other (441-90). Told rep. on phone those words were not on form and she gave me the "one offer per product BS". Was going to contact OD customer service when I looked at the forms again. 441-90 states combinable with 441-88 so I called again. Different rep. obviously following script denied again, put me on hold several times and finally said she would contact account manager to get his decision. Check back in 5-10 business days she says. I could tell she was rattled because the stupidity of it was obvious but she couldn't do anything. Hope this is a one time screw up by somebody versus a bogus policy change.

I had a problem with that once with Kaspersky, Had to keep calling back till I got someone who would approve it.
