If what OP have outlined below is replicable at all FD B&Ms on a regular basis with no issues, then you have a point. (commentary: Just a reminder that not everyone shops at FD on a regular basis and it will be upsetting if the coupon won't print-out (eg: gas(or fare)/time wasted))
note: OP have never seen and likely will not have access to FD B&M register receipt coupon
Has anyone been successful at buying a cheap item just for the coupon (transaction #1) and then buying the rest of the shopping cart (transaction #2)? Assuming without any coupon issues (eg: CSR won't allow coupon on same shopping trip, coupon valid starting the next day), please post the cheap item(s) (or no/low margin item) that will trigger the coupon (eg: postage stamp).
