Chances must be very good then, because lots of people are 10 for 10.

Hopefully they'll catch up on purchases from last night sometime.
Edit: An AE purchase this moring has not received the email. Time to play the wait game I guess.
Per the quick summary:

Wrong. Every entry will win a prize, unless they have run out.

Confirming it with AMEX doesn't mean anything. IME their customer service reps received no training on this promotion and are unable to give assistance or accurate information on it. I was actually educating the reps I spoke with yesterday.

The quick summary is incorrect. Per AMEX's rules, you get a prize until the prize pool for a given merchant is exhausted.
As I said/linked earlier: deathwish said:
Incorrect, read the contest rules, you will get a gift at random for every purchase until they run out of gifts for that merchant.

Definitely strange how these things are coming in. I have orders almost 24hrs old with no email yet, while new orders seem to generate one within minutes.
The good news is it looks like the chances of getting Shoprunner are much lower than their FAQ would suggest.
All orders for $25 gift cards. I've decided to limit myself to 4 orders per day in order to appease the gods of free stuff (and, more importantly, my partner who thinks all stuff like this is a scam).
Day 1 (Tuesday) #1 WalMart: Shoprunner membership, received immediately #2 American Eagle: $25 statement credit on next AE purchase #3 Bed, Bath & Beyond: $10 AMEX Giftcard, received 15 minutes after the order confirmation #4 WalMart: $4.50 statement credit, received 10 minutes after the order confirmation
Day #2 (Wednesday) #5 American Eagle: $2 Dunkin Donuts for me + 3. Also fulfilled the ae purchase from day #1. Statement credit was instant. #6 WalMart: $2 Dunkin Donuts for me + 3, received in about an hour. #7 WalMart: $5.00 statement credit, received in about an hour. #8 WalMart: Pending
Oh, and I managed to trigger a fraud alert like many others.

It appears to me that American Eagle must take longer than usual. It seems just about everyone that has ordered from there has not recieved a gift immediately. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. I called AMEX since it has been over 24 hours and the rep informed me that it could take up to 5 days from this merchant.

I haven't received anything from my last three orders (placed this morning). My tally is: $20 GameStop GC $25 AMEX GC $15 Statement credit $10 WalMart GC $10 shareable AMEX GC Shoprunner membership $2 Dunkin Donuts shareable GC

I am not very lucky so far:
1. $25 WalMart GC last night at 8PM ---- No email 2. $25 Reload GC last night after 8PM --- No email 3. $25 WalMart GC this morning at 10:00AM --- got Shoprunner within 1-2 minutes 4. $25 WalMart GC at 10:10 AM --- triggered AMEX fraud alert. Order could not complete 5. $25 WalMart GC at 10:50 AM after cleared fraud alert ---- No email 6. $25 WalMart GC at 4:05 PM ---- No email
$105 in statement credits, $60 in gift cards and the Shoprunner, which has already saved me $7 in shipping costs from my last AE order...this was fun!

Ordered from REI and Zappos last night. Got 10 out of 10. Not very good stuff though, the best was a $25 GC for Zappos and a $10 statement credit. The rest were $5 or less statement credits.

None of my orders from last night (~8-12PM) generated emails either. New orders placed today receive emails within minutes. Seems like a glitch for some of us last night. Looks like I'm stuck with lots of extra gift cards.

I ordered an American Eagle gift card this afternoon and got my e-mail immediately.

Still waiting on my last two but something weird happened. I noticed in my inbox the two 'you,ve received a gift' emails from AMEX then when I went to click on it I got a load error and after refreshing they disappeared. I checked all folders, trash, spam, etc. and nothing. I received emails for all the others pretty much straight away this morning. Maybe AMEX are recalling emails right after sending them? Very strange but I thought I'd share.

I placed a yoyo order after 10pm, and WalMart and TRU orders around 1130, and all gifts came almost immediately. Placed another WalMart today around 1230, and haven't received anything yet.

I'm in. The small business Saturday was a good deal so hopefully this one will be as well. You do have to register early though. So no sour grapes if you wait until the last minute to try to register.

Has ANYONE received a "gift" after 12:00PM central time?
I was receiving them like clockwork and at around 12:00PM central time they just stopped.
Anyone know whether the Specified Qualifying Merchant Gift in "Free Participation" is a sure shot (without making a qualifying purchase), when we send the postal mail to them?

I'm waiting too. I had two separate GC orders from AE.com last night. Both orders got confirmed right away and the first gift email came in almost instantly, but the second one is still up in the air after almost 15 h have passed.
