There is the issue of the volume these things occupy in your car, when lugging them home from Costco. This is delivered to your door, and that leaves lots more room in your car for your Costco Liquors run after your main shopping trip...

how much cheaper are they at costco? Stples also has a 15 roll pack of Scotts paper towels with more sheets per roll but the reviews are awful... so I am gonna spend more and get this.
I found this link... yes, alot more sheets per roll but also more than double price... guessing in the warehouse cheaper

The deal is not the place to ask others what the price is elsewhere! If you know you can beat the deal then post, ALSO not everyone has a Costco near them or a big box seller for that matter.

1) I have to drive to Costco and use gas. Something to take into account.
2) Consumer Reports reports price as cost per 100 sq. ft. Brawny ranked 6th in their tests and cost $3.61 per 100 sq ft. Kirkland cost $1.48 100 sq ft and ranked 8th for east coast and 12th for west coast at $1.46 per 100 sq. ft.
11x10.5x62 sheet per roll x 12 rolls =85,932 sq in/144in/sq ft=596 sq ft/100= 6 units of 100 sq ft or $10/6 = $1.67 per 100 sq ft.
And that is before any coupons. Seems like a good deal to me.
ETA: The last time I bought Brawny on sale on 10/12/11 from Staples they were $10.50 per 12 pack after $5 coupon for 2 @12.99 a piece. And 5% Cash Back with Discover

Totally disagree with your stupid logic.
1. I never said it was a bad deal - actually I think its a good deal. So my question was not subjectively against the OP. 2. Someelse posted the fact that you could get a better deal at Costco earlier in the thread, my question was just asking the price. 3. The purpose of a thread is to discuss the deal. That includes alternate deals and prices. Someone else brought up Costco - I just wanted clarification of the price.
Frankly, the fact that you are attacking me for asking a relevant question is thread crapping. If you left it alone, this thread would still be on topic.

Scott tissue is on sale until 12/10/11 for Scott towels - # sheets X # rolls = 1,440 sheets. Brawny - # sheets X # rolls = 744 sheets. Since Scott is 1-ply (not sure about quality or thickness) and Brawny is 2-ply, not sure which is better deal. But if you separate each sheet of the Brawny you would get 1,488 sheets. Anyway, I'm ordering the Scott's (not sure how many) along with the FAR McAfee...then apply a $25 off $75 coupon. When was the last time you paid so little Brawny? 8 Rolls at the supermarket on sale = 10 bucks which is 1.25 a roll. I'd say a more than 50% discount on something we all know we'll use is an amazing deal.
