tried at least a dozen times...no dice.... then again... i did this last year already.... the gold recently expired and they actually sent me a new "BLUE" card, as if I'm not supposed to use the "Gold" one anymore... duhhh..

Woo hoo, worked for me.

It worked after I logged into my HHonors and updated my country to something other than USA.

how do you do it? it needs 16 digits but 411945 and the HHonor number is only 15 digits total

lost my gold status!

maybe cus i changed my address back?

either way, just reactivated GOLD... but this time im leaving my address in australia

which displays the following:

Anyone got tips on what to tell the concierge when they answer? Ha!

It worked for me earlier in the year (March) - I got changed back to blue and USA somehow - sometime in June. Lasted 3 mos. First time it lasted a year.
