If anyone still has or can find the old tearpad [exp. 12/31, includes NexxGen], PLEASE save them (if you are willing to help people here RAOK) who can't find them.
I have two clean copies of the old one and I can do a good scan of both sides if they allow reproductions of the rebate form.

I ordered online and when I went to pick up they didnt have the Blitz jug with my order. When I asked if I was supposed to get that the kid looked confused and said "no".
I had to show them their ad from their sales booklet that was sitting on the counter between us. He looked more confused and said he'd have to talk with his manager. Once he did, the manager told him to go get one from the shelf. I asked if he needed to ring it in or anything and he told me no, that they were going to have to report it as stolen since there was no way for them to ring it in for free. LOL. Whatever works I guess....
BTW Thanks OP! Used NYEAR to get 20% off online, 7.5% Cash Back thru Fatwallet, and 1% rebate Cash Back on my PayPal debit card.

No dice, guy said it was something I had to ring up online when I got home with the rebate. guess the free jug is an online deal only. Guess my next few orders will be over the website?

When you received confirmation of your online order, it should have shown the blitz container. Of course you have to have added it to your order as it is not automatically included as part of this deal. That being said, if it is in their ad, they've got a problem if they can't ring it up to be free for the walk-ins.

Here are the clean scans. The fine print does not mention any issues with using reproduced rebate forms.

Update on the "limit 39" or "limit 5" you are seeing. You can actually perform this rebate once per oil type. The "limit 5" is that you are actually filing for 5x $4 rebate. IE: if you purchase 5 individual quarts on the oil change special, you are filing for 5 rebates. The limit "5" is the maximum per item - the limit is "1" if you purchase the 5+ quart jug.
However, suppose you're in a scenario where you purchase 5 individual quarts and 1 5+ quart jug. Then, you can file for 6 rebates (5x $4 for the individual quart and 1x $20 for the jug).
It's nice and confusing, and the terms are not very clear. Limit yourself to just one rebate per oil type, and you should be fine. Remember to change your quantity to "5" if you purchased individual quarts and register online.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Here are the Rebate Offers. Hurry Some Expire 12/31!

Another very confusing rebate offer!! Don't companies run these thru any sort of "logic department?"
I decided to convince that relative about doing this deal. Went to one store and had to basically twist the arm of the clerk for the $7 rebate form. Second order required even MORE twisting. They piece of paper expires in one day--today--you'd think they are giving you a precious jewel!
Second store, asked for $7 rebate form, clerk said you do that online. I showed the receipt bottom and he then searched thru the "vault" of rebate forms they keep behind the counter--nice place for those! He found only one ending sometime in 2012 as mentioned here saying it was not for this type of oil. Then, magically he found a black and white form (said he was looking for color) and it was for the $20 AMEX offer. He handed it over to me. I gave up! I was wanting the $7 not the $20 form. Knowing I can print it from the poster above/below is comforting.
Oh, and the first store clerk said I only needed ONE $7 form as you can do two rebates--not understanding the fact Ibought two separate orders with two individual receipts. What a messy way to run promos, IMO.

Your logic doesn't completely make sense to me. Ad says: Limit 1 reward card per household. Rebate offer says: Limit Five (5) rebate per qualifying rebate offer, per person, billing address, company, household and receipt/invoice/packing slip during the eligibility period, except were prohibited by law. Only one (1) rebate application per envelope.
Based on the ad, you aren't eligible for 1 rebate per type of oil, just one rebate. based on the T&C, you are eligible for 5 rebates per household

I know what you're saying, but then it wouldn't say 39 but 5. I submitted a rebate for 5 quarts last night and it did count those as 5 individual $4.00 rebates. His math makes sense given what it's saying, just as long as AAP doesn't reneg on the offer. I bought 15 of the same type before his post, so I'm going to return 10 quarts and redo a couple of orders which will (hopefully) save me $40.

Then I found the PDF on the AAP website, and I called PFC last night and they said it would be fine since "lots of people shop online".

As for the $7 rebate, the manager was very adamant on not handing it over, so I just printed out the PDF. The $10 rebate linked to above will also print out terms for a $7 rebate if you don't go for the durablend/maxlife product, just in case .

Same here... The store employee had them in his hand and refused to hand one over and then claimed that it expired. I knew otherwise.

I already received confirmation and approval for one of the $20 dollar cards, It said I should receive in 5-8 days...I had girlfriend purchase one last night for her car (different weight of oil). We do live together, so I guess we will find out if it truely is one per household.
Question for anyone who may have registered for the $7.00 rebate on the Valvoline site: It says you must include one tamper proof foil seal from a quart container, or foil seal from the largesize, taped to a 3x5 card. Sounds like I only need a single quart size seal to qualify, and not all 5...Does that sound correct?
Thanks to everyone who put some legwork into this deal!

i dont understand, you guys talk about combining the 7 dollar witht he 20 dollar, but the terms specifically say on the 7 dollar not combinable with any other valvoline offer. So, wouldnt they just reject both, or opt to give you the smaller of the two?

Employes are going to wipe them out of this stuff, I just got back from the AA store.
They said I was the first one to take advantage of this deal..I had to show them in the ad where it said about getting the recycle container..
First the guy goes your getting this stuff for next to nothing with the $20 rebate, then I tells him you got a $7 rebate coupon I want too..
He goes, your right and today is the last day..were paying you to take the stuff even..
The girl on the cash register says I`m getting one for me and my brother, other employee guy says I`m getting one too..
Customer behind me says I want in on that too, guy that got the container says we better warn these people we only got like 7 more containers..
I says those containers are maybe 3 bucks, so no big deal anyways...guy says no there like 6-7 bucks..
At any rate, I started a riot at the store..

I just thought of something; instead of doing the "Oil change promo" and getting a free jug and filter (if you don't want them), couldn't you just buy 2 sets of oil, use a coupon like RETMENOT123 (for $20 off $50) and get $40 + 2 x $7 rebates and make $24? You're making $12 as it is already (with seperate orders), but some people may want another $12 instead of the 2 jugs and 2 filters (maybe).

Why are people arguing with store employees about getting the 7 dollar rebate form if it is attached here and on their website?
Also for the store pickup....are your orders ready and put aside or so you have to go get all of the stuff off of the shelf?
I got confirmation on 20 dollar gift card already and says mailing within a week.

Rebate n00b. ALL rebates ALWAYS say that...it's almost never actually true. Rebates go to different people in different places and they have no way of knowing about the "other" rebate.

Those codes (almost) always exclude oil. I haven't tried it, but it's very likely that it won't work on oil...otherwise I'd do that in a heartbeat.

I ordered online today the Valvoline Nextgen oil change special. After picking it up, I submitted online the claim for the $20 rebate. I indicated store #1020 and register #1 as instructed in the rebates page in the AAP site for online purchases. Terms and conditions said and the rebate submission summary repeated that I'd need to postmark the claim by 4/27/2012, but I could not find any address or instructions for what I'd need to mail in. Is this rebate claim completely online?

I was wondering if anybody in this thread, who has submitted more than one rebate (either on one receipt or seperate) has had both processed, either for different or the same oil SKUs. I already submitted one of my first order and it was processed within a few hours. I am going to return the other 2 identical ones, and pick up the 2 new (different) ones I placed on the 31st. I'm starting to wonder how this will pan out, given I haven't actually heard anybody say they got more than one $20 rebate card processed.

Same Here....But Paypal shows the original price. One is "completed" one is "pending" three are "in progress"
I ordered all within an hour or two of each other, and picked up at same time except: One order was split between two stores because of availability. One order was cancelled at the store (at my request). Probably the 'pending' order.
I also completed two $20 GC rebates, one for 5.1 jug, one for 5 qts. My rebate status is "print form' ?? Am I supposed to mail something?

I submitted this rebate yesterday. Found this in a google search today. Hope it doesn't end up like this.
I bought five quarts of oil with an oil filter. Banners in the store and in the brochure indicated that by purchasing these items I would qualify for a $20 American Express Reward Card. The reciept also stated that I qualified for $7 in rebates. The sales associate told me to go online to AdvanceAutoParts.4myrebate.com. I did as instructed, following through the numerous pages on the website only to be told I would be getting a $4 rebate sometime within the next 2-3 months. There was no mention of the Reward Card.I called Advance Auto Parts where it was plain to see that no one knew what was going on. After 50 minutes on the phone with a very heavy mouth breather (seriously, I asked her if she was having respiratory problems) I was told a manager would call me. There was no indication of when I would be contacted, a day, a week, a month. The bottom line is this, you have a clear example of false advertising. The company is banking on the fact that the vast majority of people will not have the time to chase after these special offers. They make the process unnecessarily difficult to limit the number of rebates/reward cards. This is disgusting. They have lost me as a customer. spupilup 1/2/12 7:59AM

It sounds like the guy above just did the wrong rebate. Mine was CLEARLY labeled as being for a $20 gift card,as was the confimation email i received after submitting it. the process was ridiculously easy, and sounds like i will have it in hand sometime next week. the story above seems to be a clear case of operator error

Instead of complaining, a simple phone call could have fixed this and even changed the previously applied-for rebate's quantity to "5" instead of "1."

I just received confirmation email for my 2nd $20 gift card. I used my GF name and different CC, but same household address.
