Thanks OP! Haven't received mine yet, but ordered one more and the rechargeable Ultrafire batteries and charger as well. Also went with the $.99 tracking number this time, too. Great deal, and I'm looking forward to getting mine soon!

Just came home and mine were in the mailbox, ordered 2/14, shipped 2/16, delivered March 3rd, not bad time wise.
DAMN the light is bright and just had a neighbor from the end of the block(12 house away) call and ask me what kind of flashlight I was playing with.LOL!
I asked how he knew it was me, he said DUH who else around here would have such a toy?

Lots of positive and negative reviews on these batteries as well as it seems to be a fair amount of fakes from the reviews.
Also lots of warnings about over heating and even exploding ones, does anyone know which ones are real and safe?

exploding? i can't find that review. if it heats up, i would consider that a feature on colder days.

OOPS! Was reading about the 18000 series batterys, so how reliable are the 14500's and how many charges will you reasonably expect to get out of them?

Like mine a lot. At night I don't turn on the hall lights so I can use it. LOL

I forgot about this thread. I received mine two or three weeks ago from tomtop. I've ordered from them before and have been happy with my purchases so far. I don't have much of a reference for CREE lights as my other lights are non-CREE LEDs, but I really like this one. Good, solid construction. Very bright on a regular AA and the focus feature is surprisingly effective.

I received my two lights this week (ordered on Feb. 13). I am very happy with them. They are very bright with a rechargeable AA. I also really like the zoom feature.
The 14500's are noticeably brighter on an already bright flashlight. However, the ones I bought (UltraFire 3.6V 900mAh from TomTop) don't last very long (30 minutes? maybe less?). And yes, the flashlight does get really warm. Anyone have a recommendation of longer-life 14500 batteries? Or is this the norm when overdriving a flashlight like this? Given that AA's are still pretty bright, I think I'll keep using those.

I need to order another, my wife stole mine. She liked that it was smaller than the other flashlights and it was easily adjustable. I've got a few of the HomeDepot specials, but they require 3 AAA batteries and it's much nicer to just use a single AA (plus I've got lots of AA eneloops).

Just treceived mine. Advice you to pay 99 c for tracking . Mine arrived in 2 weeks.Very solid- metal , no loose screws. Works perfectly with rechargables. One AA is a big plus.Bargain for a price - resembles german quality.

Ordered my flashlight on Feb 20th. Just arrived yesterday. I have so many flashlights that I was disappointed with myself for ordering another. I thought the disease had run its course, but I found myself running to the mailbox everyday hoping that it arrived.
I can echo what everyone else has been saying. It is a nice solid heavy metal construction. Very good quality. It's a nice size to keep with you at all times. I just threw an Alkaline AA battery in there. It was not even new. The amount of light that this little flashlight puts out is remarkable. When the adjustable head is in the normal position, the light pattern is a nice big bright flood beam. This is nice if you are searching for something on the ground (dog people know what I am talking about). When the adjustable head is pulled out, the beam becomes an intensely bright square. I was pointing the light at large highway signs that were 300 ft away and they lite up as if they were jumbo LCD monitors.
I have no intentions to put 3.6+ V lithium 14500s in my light. Even though there is a nice fined heat sink on the body, I'm afraid of over driving the led and burning it out prematurely.
If I were to do it over again, I would have ordered 4 flashlights.

Got mine today not sure when I ordered. WOW! great construction. metal and bright. I am going to order one for my son! I do wish as pointed out earlier that the clip could be reversed so you could clip it on your hat while riding!
Can anyone that received this confirm if it has O rings?

I just got it today (quite a wait) and it is surprisingly bright (better than 90% of the LED ones we've ever bought). I will still use my DealExtreme light though, it's even better well made and is waterproof (I wouldn't trust this one).

Ordered some more as gifts from Tom Top through their eBay offering after emailing the seller of the one I posted above who said that their clone has only one gasket, so for like 19 cents or so more I got Tom Tops that had them on both ends. Also seems tom top seems to ship faster from eBay which includes the tracking number at no charge.

I ordered a few more of these to hand out as Father's day gifts. We always have trouble finding little things to give out, and these are something most guys like.
