I just read that the program has ended, apparently they ran out, but will still honor submissions postmarked by April 2. I have mine ready to go so I will go to the post office tomorrow, hope I get it.
From the GasRewardsFAQs.pdf: I recently sent in a request for a Gas Rewards card, will I still receive it? We are fulfilling all requests received that were post marked by the date the announcement went live on Kelloggs.com/AARP on April 2, 2012.
Why couldn't they just say postmark deadline April 2, 2012?

So if it goes out in Mondays mail is that too late? I stocked up on cereal for this deal but was procrastinating also.

I am hoping not, I think I will walk into the post office and just pay cash at the counter, so they postmark it then and there, and then maybe snap a pic with my phone? Such a pain, but 10 bucks is 10 bucks.

Gotta run out and buy 4 more qualifying cereals (currently have 6 UPCs).
Giant PA has Rice Krispies and Raisin Bran 3/$6. Will use $4/4 coupon to get 4 for $4.
P.S. Thanks manderson660 for the heads up that this ended.
P.P.S. I wonder how many submission they'll get that are postmarked April 2nd?

I'd take the envelope INTO THE POST OFFICE AND HAVE IT HAND CANCELLED with the April 2nd date just to be certain.

Hand stamped - agree. I had three rebates I sent in from my home mailbox at the same time. They were stamped with three different dates - one after the deadline, which is why I know about it (a phone call straightened it out). The three dates were spread out over a 5 day period...ridiculous. And another good reason to give Staples Easy Rebates your business!

I plan to swing by the regional sorting facility on the way to work in the morning.

This might be a good thing for those of you that have enough UPCs to send in. They say that they run out of the cards but will still honor requests postmarked by 4/2 so I'm speculating that they're going to mail checks instead, which I would much prefer than the prepaid cards! Now I just need to find some good deals on Kellogg's cereals today!

Just got the last two returned as undeliverable to the Kalamazoo address. Talking to Customer Service right now. I thought they'd have this figured out by now! Glad the postmarks are showing up clearly.
ETA: They don't know what to do since the promotion is over with. So they are checking to see if we should still forward them to Hilda or not...

Kelloggs called back. Said to forward it to Hilda at the address earlier in this thread, but to add a reference number (unique to case). As long as the original letters are postmarked by April 2, Hilda will put them through for processing.
Not sure if this would work unless you call and get a reference number, but they are holding the line on honoring anything postmarked by April 2.

Anybody have submissions from this round show up as processing, then disappear in the last week?
I had 1 from the last offer (ended 12/31/11) and 2 for the current offer showing in status. The 1 from last offer is still there, but the 2 from the current offer disappeared.
P.S. I also sent in another on 4/2 that isn't showing, but I don't expect it to show yet.

Yes this happened to me. Mailed 1 in on 3/19/12, and it showed up on the status webpage on 4/3/12. On 4/9/12 it disappered. I sent an e-mail, and got a reply the next day that states:
"This promotion has ended prematurely, due to such an overwhelming response. All orders that were postmarked by 4/2/2012 will be honored and processed. However, we did not have enough gas cards to fulfill all of the orders that we received. In lieu of a prepaid debit card, you will be receiving a $10 check. This is why your order does not appear online anymore. Currently, the check is in process and we will mail it out to you as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience."

The deal is back!
Rec'd the following email today ...
Based on our records, you have recently contacted us and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced while trying to participate in the Kellogg's™ Gas Rewards Card offer. Please know we have listened to our consumers and have made the decision to process requests received on or before the original promotion end date of April 30, 2012.
Our intention was never to create frustration. This was a very popular offer, and we exhausted our supply of gas cards. So we made the decision to end the offer effective April 2, 2012, and all requests that were postmarked by April 2 were to be processed as received. We soon learned that many had already printed the order form but were not aware that the offer had ended prior to mailing in their request.
If you have your original submission that was returned to you and have not sent it back in, or meet the requirements for a new submission, please mail your materials postmar ked by April 30, 2012, to the original address - P.O. Box 7299, Kalamazoo, MI 49003-7299. The P.O. Box has been re-opened and we will process once received. As we are unable to provide the gas rewards card, you will receive a check in the amount that covers the value of the Gas Rewards Card.
Please know that we value you as a consumer and hope you will continue to look for other great promotion offers from Kellogg Company.

Who is this Hilda and what is her address? I got my envelope returned, even though I paid an extra 45 cents to have it hand cancelled! So, they are saying we can now send that in to get the rebate?

Form says "10oz or larger, mix or match". As long as the cereal is listed on the form and size is at least 10oz, it is qualified.

FYI, safeway has Raisin Bran Crunch on sale 2/$5 this week. Got a raincheck from CVS sale last week, $2.44 just in case. Plus I still have a few $1 off 2 coupons from my previous boxes. Will go out today and get the form out by Monday.
BTW, I'm in San Jose and supermarket ads can be regional.

Wow I just saved my 10th UPC and went to the site today and see that they have pulled the promotion. I guess Kellogg's tricked me into buying only Kellogg's cereal for the last few months! What a scam. No more Kellogg's cereal for me.

Got this as a response to filling out customer inquiry form linked from the expired promotion page:
Thank you for contacting Kellogg Company about the Kellogg's™ Gas Rewards Card.
As you can imagine, the response to our promotional offers is tremendous. In order to maintain promotion control and balance, we must establish certain guidelines and specified requirements for each offer. Any deviation from these guidelines can cause tremendous imbalance in the control of the promotion and sale of the product.
In fairness to all of our consumers, we must handle each request in exactly the same manner. Therefore, we cannot authorize any requirements other than those listed nor can we allow substitution.
We are so sorry to hear that you were not able to participate in this promotion. The offer has been very popular. Requests for the Gas Rewards cards have exceeded our expectations and supplies did not last long. As stated in the Terms and Conditions, the offer was "available while supplies last." We hope that you will understand where we're coming from. Be assured that your comments have been shared with the appropriate company officials.
We appreciate your interest in our company and products.
