ok, so did anyone else's orders get delayed indefinitely? I got an email stating that the ship date was postponed and I had to confirm that i still wanted the product. Then when I called to confirm, they said that there was no definite date for shipment...

I also got an email (2/4) telling me my Bloomingdale's Le Creuset order would be delayed for 30 days. On 2/7, Bloomingdale's emailed shipping confirmation, and it was on my doorstep on 2/8. Thought about canceling my order on 2/4, but before I could decide, it had been delivered.
Just checked my Bloomingdale's account, and it now says that my order is "cancelled on 2/9/12". I gave them a call, and asked why this was so since I had called a couple days ago, as requested, to keep my order alive. When I then asked for a substitute item, the rep told me that my account had a note regarding compensation. After the rep researched what the compensation was, he told me that corporate hasn't started the process yet, but he manually initiated my compensation of a $25 gift card to be snail mailed to me.
Looks like we will all be getting a $25 gift card! (I would still rather have the pot, but oh well)
Hey jtw, I called Bloomies and was able to substitute the item for a round shape pot in the same size. Same price. You may want to try again if you want the pot.
