They do look pretty cool! I'm tempted to pick one up because I'm a fan of the movie. Anyone have input on how "good" this mouse is for gaming/daily usage?
Hmm, decent reviews...I'll pick up a couple of these for gifts since I'm perfectly happy with my Logitech G500 at the moment. Since it's $5 flat shipping, I bought 2 and it was broken down like this:
You want 2
Razer TRON Gaming Mouse You ordered 2 Razer TRON Gaming Mouse, 5600dpi, 3.5g, Braided 7' Cable, Ambidextrous, Light and Sound Features. which each cost $25.99 for a subtotal of $51.98 plus shipping + $5.00 for a total of $56.98
I was very tempted to grab one of these. My G500 died a couple days ago And had to pull out my backup mouse. Some cheap belkin mouse i bought 2 years ago, and never used till now. So, after reading the "its a small mouse and light" which is how i feel about this belkin. If you've never had a mouse where you could adj the weight, you may think this is trivial. But after the G500 its a deal killer. this thing does look cool though. EDIT: Dont mean to hijack or even if this is allowed. But i just ordered a G500 from Newegg. 47.99 with free super saver shipping & it comes with some free world of tanks game? They say a 25.00 value. Thats around 20/25 dollars cheaper then i saw else where. Again, hope I'm not breaking some rule here or offending the OP..
I almost bought one last time round on w00t. Most of the dings against it seemed minor, but the deal breaker is that it makes noise when powering up. Yeah it's kinda cool at first, but I know I'd tire of it, especially if I get on the computer late night and it wakes up someone. Some people say it only does it on bootup, others say it happens even when waking up from sleep. Probably depends on how the particular computer enumerates the USB devices.
I can't believe they are selling this without the mousepad! I would be totally on it if it were. The mousepad leaves (faint), light trails, for the real Tron experience. Without it, it's just a stylish mouse.

The only place I've seen that sells the mousepad separately is on Razer's official online store: LINKY
