When they determine if you are eligible for the rebate, they use the purchase date and not the delivery date, right? I say that because the delivery date for both the TM (I bought yesterday) and the AVG (I just bought) fall out of the dates of the rebate.

EDIT: Wow. The AVG I just ordered says it will be delivered by Staples courier and the expected delivery date isn't until February 27th (11 days from now)! Makes you wonder if they really have it now physically in stock and if they do why the delay in delivering it.

Now the "problem" is what to do with the 44 boxed anti-virus programs I have accumulated over the past 6 weeks.

wouldn't push your luck using two 25/100 coupons. If you get BL'ed you'll be SOL for your rewards and you can even have them forfeited if they cancel your orders.

Is it worth $25 to take that risk? I don't think so.

Not trying to start rumors or spread panic, but it looks like things are changing, so don't go crazy trying to order a bunch of FAR software and tie up your money just to make Premiere quicker until things clear up a little. There is a thread in Deal Discussions

I can't speak to those who are first getting to premier as a result of the FAR software deals, but I was already premier from 2011 into 2012 and mine clearly shows the Premier designation w/no mention of "Plus" anywhere. We had heard some people saying their account was going "back and forth" with spending totals earlier this week and I'm thinking the plus logo is tied into that, not to mention, if you reached $500 in spend a couple of weeks b4 you reach $1000+ in spend, it's going to reflect PLUS before it reflects PREMIER based upon when they get all the proper totals calculated on one's rewards account.

I can't guarantee things won't change, but I'm thinking the plus is simply a new level and Premier will indeed remain. The big question is....

what are ink recycle limits going to be? I've read both on here that Plus was still 10 carts, others have said 20. If it's only 10 carts per month, you'd still want to make the Premier level as that is the most significant benefit to try and use on a monthly basis.

My account showed Premeire on Feb 1, (I had $1500 of spending by mid-Jan). I also got the "Congratulations you made Premiere your new card is coming" email last week. Today my rewards home page went back to red with standard logo, and when i reloaded showed Plus logo. This may just be them updating sites with new logos to be used for Plus, and maybe I will go back to Premeire. I already did my 20 cartridges for Feb, and my $40 credit is still showing. Hopefully all will go back to normal soon.

Like I said, my intent isn't to spread rumors, but just a word of caution to those still trying to get Premiere this month so they don't tie up a bunch of cash in rebates that may do them no good. My advice to anyone not using coupons for a MM but already with $500+ for the year is simply to sit tight for a day or two to see how this shakes out. I do not claim to have any inside info, just trying to be helpful based on what I am seeing. Maybe it's nothing

Their system is messed up I am not seeing 2 of my online transactions in the rewards system . This has never happened to me and my rewards number is stored in my profile so there is no way that I missed it when placing the order as well

When did you place the transaction? Transactions have only been posted for those transactions made through 2/13.

Mine were during the last week of Jan ( 22 and 29 I guess))

Went to log into my account yesterday and the system didn't recognize my email or logon. Has anyone had a Staples.com account "disappear" for inactivity?

Looking thru my email, my last order was 4/18/2010. Never used "fraudulent" coupons. Never had an order cancelled, except once for stock issues.

BTW, I was able to set-up a new account today using the same logon (and email address) as my previous account.

Thanks. Lol! I put in 500 for the AVG download and it would have let me buy all 500. $17,500. Think I used to know this trick but just plain forgot.

Okay, I've maxed out the Trend Micro. I guess I might as well go ahead and just order 10 AVG download. No tax, so I get some credit card rewards if nothing else. Gonna give it another day first to see if I can get my new rewards account correctly linked to my Staples.com account.
