If you have Chase, log in and purchase through the UR portal for a bonus 4 points/$1 (= 5% CB)! Isn't it just 4%? (i.e. it's in place of, not on top off, the usual 1%)
Nope, it's an extra 4% (i.e. on top of the usual 1%), for a total of 5% CB .
Also, I just talked to someone at Staples.com and was told that they are not getting any more stock of the boxed AVG software. So, I added 10 downloads to my cart then chickened out because I didn't want to pay so much tax .

If this is not correct and you're actually getting 5% + the 1% normal Cash Back for using the card, feel free to correct me.

Last month when Staples bonus CB was 5% thru Chase, I thought I had gotten just 5% total instead of 5%+1%=6%. Thanks for the correction.

Went to the store and was literally 30 seconds late.
I put 3 copies of TM MS3 in my cart, started going through checkout and had to re-login to Staples Rewards on my phone to get the rewards number, and in that duration, someone bought the last couple copies. In hindsight, I should have just bought it at home and spent my entire rewards check.
Also, there seems to be some difference between MS-3 and IS-3 because MS-3 lets you use the coupon for the free ream of paper, but IS-3 doesn't.

Does not work with services like downloads. Only boxed software.

Did you actually put the paper in your cart?
I read on this thread or another that some were entering the coupon code but never actually added the paper to their cart. Coupon won't give you credit unless the paper is actually in your cart

Did you try with the Maximum Security? I tried with TM Internet Security, and it didn't work, but when I changed it to Max Security it worked. I never saw the AVG in stock so I wasn't able to try with that.

Same. For some reason, a couple of the rebate checks for internet security ($50) had "Thank you for participating in Titanium Maximum Security" on the bottom.

BTW I'm trying it with MS 1 user and IS 3 user and it's telling me I have not met the purchase requirements. MS 3 user must have somehow been coded wrong, or they fixed the coupon.

Same! I was also confused about this and wasted a lot of time going through my entire list of rebates on the website a couple times to figure it out.
I hope the rest of my SERs arrive soon; I'm still waiting on ~one pay period-worth of rebates to arrive .

The big week with the 25% Rewards was 2 weeks later, so figure another 2 weeks to get the big checks, maybe earlier in the week than these arrived. I just got a "the check is in the mail" for a check from the week in between.

I have one rebate from 11/26 that has been "in the mail" for about 6 weeks (my other rebates submitted at the same time arrived weeks ago, so I'm thinking that this one got lost in the mail...) and the rest are from January and February. On the plus side, my Rewards account has been showing Premier for some time now (I had to call them SEVERAL times to manually add dozens of receipts after I discovered that manually submitting them online over and over again was useless). I hope the card arrives soon . I'll be the first to admit that I'm solely in this thing for the coolness black Staples card.
And world peace.

mathfaster said: metsfan said: mathfaster said: metsfan said: Last year sometime, I had the problem of my ink rewards getting stolen. I had Staples issue me a new rewards number, and haven't had the problem since. But ever since then all my online orders get applied to the rewards account that was supposedly closed. What they actually did was just close the online account on staplesrewards.com, but the rewards number is still active. I also can't give my phone number at the store, have to scan my card, or it gets credited to the wrong account. I was able to re-create the rewards account on staplesrewards.com and changed all the info, and I made sure my rewards number shows up as the right one on my Staples.com account, but it still happens.
I guess the point of all that was... I want to order some of this stuff and have it count towards my Premier... not that I'll have trouble reaching it anyway. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions for a solution? In store, I just have them scan my card and it all works, but I can't order any rewards-related items online and get the credit to the right account properly.
This issue is common on SD. Call Rewards. IIRC, they can link your old account to the new one.
Old Staples.com account or rewards account? I don't want them linked, then I worry that my new account's rewards will get stolen.
Just call the rewards people and explain your situation. I don't remember all the particulars.
Thanks. Two orders I placed before I contacted them don't show up in my rewards account, but the third one does so it looks like I'm all set again now. Also they claim my phone number in store (instead of scanning the card) will work with my new rewards account instead of the old one, too.

Only because you decided to post off-topic asking about your rebate that you thought was missing, which you were told not to worry about. It would make more sense to post in the thread for the actual deal since other people who did the same deal might be wondering about their rebate.
People who bought McAfee software 2 weeks ago would not be wondering if their rebate showed up online yet.

Relax. The issue was the slowness at which McAfee/Parago was processing submittals right now. It was mentioned in both this thread and the other. And I think people who submitted a McAfee rebate 2 weeks ago would be interested in knowing how long the process is taking right now.
