Also, Anybody know that the limit is? (How many rebates per address?).
As many of us are DIYer.
All i know is what is written on the form. 1 request per vehicle. No idea how they would enforce this for DIY oil purchase, or what the per address DIY limit is, since it's not stated on the form. There area a total of 4 active rebate forms that all share the same offer #, so might be wise not to go overboard. Not sure why they make you enter your email to get a link, since they say they won't use your email for anything but sending you a rebate form. The rebate forms contain no tracking that i could see. It looks like a generic link they send you
Went to WalMart at lunch and grabbed the last 5 qt jug they had - luckily it was what I had wanted; 5W-20 Quaker State® Ultimate Durability™ motor oil.
It was $20.57; so 57 cents + tax afetr Rebate. Not too shabby. Thanks OP!!

It has nothing to do with the motor, the oil passages could flow 50weight if it wanted. It has to do with getting the EPA rated MPG down enough to produce more vehicles. By running a 20 weight it helps the MPG rating on paper, not so much in the real world though.
Do some research and you will find its just for ratings, not for the motor design. Nothing special about the motor over any other..
Also if you are going to run it the. It still doesnt have to be a 0W, it can be 5W, 10W as well. You will actaully be better off running a tighter grade spread anyway.
I filed three rebates, in separate envelopes, and included a copy of one of our three cars' registrations in each one. Nothing says it's required, but I prefer better safe than sorry with $60 on the line.

Better off with a 10w-40 if you are in a warmer climate. 0w-40 and 5w-40 has a ton of viscousity modifiers

Figured as much. WalMart must sell a ton of this stuff to them. I'm sure they've got it down to shorthand. In for one. Not sure where the quote went. Was responding to the WalMart code post.

I finally stopped by WalMart and it was also found for $20.57 + tax for northern VA. So technically, 57 cents + tax + rebate processing (stamp, etc...).
Like others reported back, on my receipt reads "Q HRSPW 5W30 007310204852".

The receipt doesn't have the name or which type of the oil, just shows the 5w-20 on it...will it pose a problem?

In for two.
Thanks so much. Also took advantage of the Nextgen and G-oil rebates (two each). Six oil changes in reserve have me feeling a little better.
I know have a FW alert for the keyword OIL.
I'll be taking advantage of every Free After Rebate I can get my hands on.

I'd like to go forward with a jug or three... on the one hand I don't trust this rebate at all, but on the other $20 isn't terrible for 5 qt of full synthetic either. Probably will do it since I'm out of 10w-30 otherwise.

Rebate is good til 3/31 so wait and see if other people's multiple rebates are processed or not -- I mailed out one rebate yesterday, will hold off on buying more until other people post updates about their rebate status

Does the mechanically reproduced mean that you cannot print copies of the rebate form? Does Advanced Auto, Autozone or O'Reilly carry the 5 qt. bottle. I cannot find them on their website.

The rebate states that you need to send a copy of the receipt in, so keep the original, don't break the caps seal and if there is a problem just return it.

I just talked to Quaker State warranty at :Rebate Inquiries If it has been more than 8 weeks, to inquire about the status of you rebate visit: http://www.shellrebatecenter.com/quaker_state/ 866-707-6737 They said if you register your vehicle on their site with a vin number you can do this once per vin. If you just send in for the rebate without registering it is once per household. Your vehicle has to have less than 75000 miles and be manufactured within the last 72 months.

From what was said a few posts up, I understood as you CAN get this for any vehicle, regardless of mileage, but it's limited to one per houshold

Interesting development. Looks like they plan to reject rebate claims based upon an unwritten condition known only to the vendor. Good luck with that if someone brings a class action on it.

You can still buy some oil, its just that you can't get their 300k mileage engine warranty and you're limited to one rebate per household. No big deal - if you change your oil regularly, your cars engine will last forever.
(But I know what you mean - I have a Camry that's older and with more mileage and I'd like to try to get 300,000 miles and some Cash Back.

Thanks for calling. I was going to call myself but decided to check this thread again to see if anybody else did before me. It answered one of my question, which was basically what happens with multiple submission of rebates without VIN/registration from the same household. It appears that the rebate is going to have a fiascal without the expressed terms/conditions for limiting to one per household without registering the VIN.

I have been debating this rebate, so I just found the QSUD rebate I did back in September 2011. It is IDENTICAL to the one posted in the OP except for a couple of things.
The big blank white area under the big green $20 has my VIN # and under that it states REBATE ID - AW422A6F. It appears to me that the rebate form posted in the OP is the QSUD VIN registration rebate with the VIN number and rebate ID "Photoshopped" out. The huge white space under the green $20 does look odd doesn't it?
The "Mail To:" line on my one from September is the SAME as this one "Quaker State Warranty Offer 0313" with the same address.
It shows my rebate was paid back in October 2011. I don't think I better try this one. I only have one VIN that qualifies and QS has it already. If you have never done the VIN registered rebate, you might be ok, but since I did one, I think I better skip it this time.
This was the original link I followed back in Sept to register for this rebate (or what I think is this same rebate)
Edited to say that out of curiosity I went to signup for the VIN registered rebate again and it has an option to get the rebate without signing up for the warranty (I do not remember seeing that back in Sept) so I click through, give my email and I get this link
This link produces the same rebate as the OP, with no VIN and a lot of white space and the same mailing address.
Now I am wondering if I can do this again??

What was said a few post up does not matter. If those things were the case they would have been posted on the rebate site or printed on the rebate itself. Quaker state will have a pr nightmare if they deny valid receipts. possible class action and a ton of bad mouth press. I sent in 10 and they should honor them. Otherwise they are going to have a ton of there oil returned.

I concur. Although I just think most of us probably won't spend the time to fight them. Although please let us know if 9 out of 10 rebates you submitted were rejected and what is your progress with them. I'd to, want to buy a $hit ton of these. BTW, all 10 rebates under the same name and address, no VIN registration, I presume?

So your big threat is if they don't give it to you for free you will take it back to store ( the store Quaker State already sold it to anyway). Boy if that doesn't bring them to their knees i don't know what will.....
