I have one of these Panasonic KX-TG9xxx series units and I love it. After two years, the batteries in most of the units died (in short order) but I replaced them with Sanyo Eneloops (from Amazon) and they are all still going strong.
Note that this comes with 3 handsets and supports up to six. If you can use even one extra handset, BUY TWO OF THIS DEAL! Individual handsets are $50, with this deal get 3 extras for $40 (and a spare base).

I bought one also. Consumer reports says the following about this model: CR's Take A very good phone-answerer. Just be careful not to accidentally delete unplayed messages. Highs: Very good voice quality when talking and good when listening. Very good phone and answerer ease of use, and reasonable 8-hour talk time. Very good message and greeting quality. Adequate 17-minute message recording time. Can conference handsets with an outside call. Phone has lighted keypad, talking caller ID, auto talk, any-key answer, chain dialing, multilingual menus and is conferencing capable with an outside line. It's Energy Star compliant. Lows: Answerer lacks message counter display and it is easy to accidentally erase unplayed messages. Phone setup is more complicated than most.

Has a call blocker too. The blocked caller can't get through and gets a busy signal.

Thanks FS! Debated for a while. I have 2 93xx sets already. 2 phones are dead. Batteries are not so good, but if you can get a good deal on batteries, I recommend.

I've had good luck with mine. No battery issues after one year of use. Good deal, great way to pick up some expansion handsets.

Sorry if slightly OT, but does anyone have information/sources for any "rules"/"Standards" for backward compatibility of DECT 6.0 bases/handsets with other DECT 6.0 units of the same manufacturer or is just searching for compatibility lists.
Have been very satisfied long-term use of Panny KX-TG1031 series (including the batteries). Gather neither this base could be paired with those handsets nor these handsets paired with that base, yes/no?

Used to own one of these. Works okay, but issues I had: - Intermittent "No Link to Base", even with fully charged batteries and near 'base' - Limited Range between handset and base - Battery problems: replace the OEM batteries with a good set of rechargeable AAAs
This is a good deal, but you can I would personally get something like this http://www.staples.com/Panasonic-KX-TG4032B-DECT-60-Plus-Cordless-Phone-with-Digital-Answering-System/product_856030 which doesn't have the issue above. You can get two of those for $80-$25 ejunkie coupon=$55
For anyone that's looking for extra handsets/base PM me. I have replaced my KX-TG9333 set with the Dect Plus and I'm willing to part with some/all of my 9333 sets.

A "Green" thank you.
Unfortunately you've also confirmed by disappointment
Wish there was a "standard" for Dect 6.0 unit interoperability.

I saw a Panasonic KX-TG1063M with 1 base and 3 cordless handsets for $75 on Overrunz.com. The shipping was $10 though.

I already have an ATT 5.8mgz base and 2 handsets, but would like a couple more for other rooms. Can I put this Panasonic base on the line and still have ATT phones work as well? Would there be a conflict? Phone says can block unwanted calls with extra cost telephone company service? Can I block these telemarketers that still call me. They show up as 'private caller' with no phone number I can see to block?
