Adobe Coupon: Extra 80% off select education software
Adobe cuts an extra 80% off select education software via coupon code "SAVE80EDU". That's the best percent-off discount we've seen from Adobe in more than a year. (We last saw 10% off $375 or more in August.) Shipping starts at $5.95, or choose download delivery to avoid shipping charges. Deal ends March 3.

I bought a Photoshop for $49 shipped.
And also bought a web design suit for $95 shipped.

Great deal.

BTW, the coupon is a little tricky.
I input SAVE80EDU , then the Apply button not work.
So I input SAVE80EDU00 , then the Apply button appears to be workable, then I delete the 00, and make it to SAVE80EDU , then click Apply button. Then it works.

Good luck guys.

Copy/paste coupon didn't work, but typing it in worked.
Great deal! Thank you.

Don't you have to provide proof you're a student/teacher?

my wife has a college student ID. You can just scan and send to them for verification.
The order will only go through if the Student/teacher verification process went through.

Products ordered:
Qty Product
1 Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended Student and Teacher Edition (Windows,English)
Total purchase amount: US $49.75

Products ordered:
Qty Product
1 Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Web Premium Student and Teacher Edition (Windows,English)
Total purchase amount: US $104.12

I am in California, so added some tax.

Yeah that you have to. However if you are a student, Masters Collection for $180 is a steal.

Why such a Deep Discount? Intriguing!

Ken's trick worked for me. Master Collection for $180 is truly an unbelievable deal.

GOT IT! Masters Collection for $180 IS a steal! I just couldn't afford the previous "discount" which was was way to steep. I actually buy all of my software & look for deals like this when I am taking grad. classes. I encourage anyone who does not have a legit version to buy it at this price. I think we should reward companies for offering deals to students & teachers. We take the software preferences into our work places they buy for the whole office/studio.

don't forget fatwallet 5% CashBack for Adobe

Does Adobe still count Homeschooling in the education discount? I can't seem to find it in the qualification list.

Edit: nm, seems that they do - Text

Adobe said: Am I eligible?
To qualify for a teacher discount, you must be one of the following:
...
Teacher of a homeschooled student — defined by state homeschooling regulations

Design Standard for $59 is the sweet spot. Loses the 3D and motion tools of Extended version of Photoshop, but the standard is more than sufficient for most everything else. Comes with Acrobat, Illustrator, and Indesign.

I just pruchased acrobat for $119 a month ago. It's now $24.

Good deal for a student, now these are affordable prices for students...

Just curious - why did you order PS if you were also buying Web Premium which includes PS?

Companies sometimes do this to clear inventory, get you using their product, etc right before they release a new version.

I suspect CS6 is right around the corner. I know they said "sometime in 2012"

I need this This is a an awsome deal thanks for the post.

Is there any difference between "Education" version and "Regular" version?
When you install the "Education" version, do you need to provide same information as you placed the order?
Or They are just identical, but just price difference?
Thanks...

Awesome. Got order through but the identit-e page keeps hanging. Grrr

Best post ever! Looks like I need to cancel my PS/Premier Elements order from Amazon Gold Box since I'll pick up a Master Edition!

Man, that Adobe site is totally messed up. Chrome goes all wiggy, and I accidentally chose "student" instead of "parent of student" and the cookie won't let me check out no matter what, even when I log in with a different ID. In IE, the cart fills and empties seemingly by magic, and would only allow the coupon to be applied to a single item, but now it wont let me checkout a second time. Luckily, though the first order went through (but didn't verify), I got an email confirmation which had a link for verification docs to be sent.

I know CS6 (asd PS6) is just around the corner, but I can live with 2 year old software in this case.

If it lets you complete the order, great. If not, clear your cookies & cache, then resubmit. It may look like it fails and kick you back to the home page. Check your email...you'll get a pre-confirmation with your order number, then go to https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/support/index.cfm?event=opencscase... and enter your order ID and upload your eligibility docs.

That site has given me trouble before. After trying to resubmit and backtrack several times, I finally lost the page. I ended up clicking the customer support link on my Adobe order confirmation email and submitted my validation there.

Seriously, this. A deal like this is better than crossing your fingers on a usenet or torrent. You get full support plus bug fixes.

unfortunately, my computer CPU does not able to meet the minimum requirement of photoshop CS5, my computer still using Intel Celeron M processor 1.60GHz...
I donot have money to upgrade my computer

Picked me up acrobat X for 25+tax & shpg.

Thank You OP!

A great find OP!

I've been using Adobe apps professionally for a long time. The first one was Pagemaker (precursor to InDesign) which used a runtime version of Windows 1.0 if that gives you an idea. This was a few years before scalable type was introduced and almost everything else was being run from the DOS command line.

There's a steep learning curve for Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, the apps I know best, but it's well worth the time and effort if you're interested in graphic design, page layout, photo manipulation, etc.

I ordered the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium as a parent with a student in college which will update the apps I have at home.

Maybe we'll see some great designs for the next Fatwallet Black Friday Tee shirt competition thanks to Adobe!

Yep. I had to open a support case too. It looks like they take 1-3 business days to close the support case and complete the order.

The online verification website appears to be down.

EDIT:

Finally got through. How long did the verification take using an email address?

I got the identit-e page to open enough to see that it took several days to complete the order via that method, too. You're not missing out on a thing.

Unable to place order. gets stuck on last page. Just talked to a CS. 80% off code is dead since last 4.5 hours.

I successfully used the SAVE80EDU code at about 7:20 CST tonight, but I've been unable to submit proof since then. Chatted with a CS and they said that they were aware of a "broken link" with identit-e and were working to resolve. He said to try again in an hour, and it still isn't working. Hopefully it'll open up soon.

I received an order confirmation and was able to submit proof of status successfully at 9:33 CST.

I used the link provided above to submit proof, and received a confirmation email:
