The tiny HP 32gb 2.0 drive was $22.99 all last week. If you missed it, you now have this option for a buck cheaper, but now much uglier/bulkier. Though I suppose it's also more durable, even more reliable.

Even more than before I'd stay away from anything stamped HP. And the longer Meg Whitman stays in charge the worse the quality will get. Mark my words.
On the other hand I like Corsair jump drives. I'm on my 3rd. Sold the 1st 2. Now I have the CORSAIR Survivor 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model CMFSV3-32GB. It's awesome. Got it with the $20 MIR.

Can't find it. How are the read/write speeds? Anyone have one of these and can comment? Thanks.

Same price at Amazon, but out of stock, though you can order anyway. Some reviewers there commented on speed.

I am looking for a 32GB drive and would buy but that cap is going to get lost. Prefer integrated caps like the Lexar Twist-Turn drives.

Great drive. Got it for about the same price with rebate a while ago. Fast, lots of space - using it almost daily

I know this is off topic, but can anyone recommend an EASY to operate cheap or free encryptation pgm I can set up on a USB drive for a non-tech family member who looses things? (If I can stop her from writing the password on a post-it and putting it w the drive we'll be way ahead of the game..) Thanks

My stick went through the washer in my pants pocket. Didn't phase it. This thing is rock solid.

TrueCrypt is very popular and easy to use - FREE too !
I use it to create an encrypted file on my Flash Drive to hold anything I wouldn't want a stranger to read.

It's a great price.
I think I will hold off until USB 3.0 becomes less expensive, though. It's over 6X faster.

Realistically expect maybe half that in real world performance unless it's a really premium drive.
