IS is a little more comprehensive, usually includes spyware/malware and other assorted programs that don't always come with the basic anti virus program. AV is the most important in my opionion as there are free giveaways for various malware programs from time to time (like Malwarebytes, etc)

never said I was buying this...just posted the deal and answering questions.

Some people despise rebate deals (simply don't want to lay out the money), so I'm sure there are lots of people going this route so they don't have to lay out $35 and wait for the rebate to come back.

ship the .50 item to the store for free shipping, the download link will be emailed to you. You don't have to ever pick up the paper clips at the store (unless you want to).

only if you wish to lay out the $10 til you use it. a .50 filler is a simple, low cost OOP.

I believe If you gift cards to your order and there is any coupon in that order it will immediately get flagged to researching. I had a similar situation 2 times in the past but with the 25$ off coupon

I was told i cant add gift cards to make up the total and apply the coupon as they cant discount gift cards

Staples just recently upgraded me to premier so i guess thats why shipping was free

Call up Staples and ask why you were charged. They should be able to refund the charge back to your card.

@MISTERCHEAP obviously not my fault since there is a glich on this promotion since other members are going through the same thing. Either way this is a bad post and worse if you did not even plan to use it then why post anything. The only reason I'm saying to delete this post is so that no one goes through the same thing that I went through.

While I stock up on the Internet/Maximum security versions and hand them out to friends/family/acquaintances who need good parental software (the online time limits and site filtering in these packages is excellent), I did decide to place an order for these Antivirus-only licenses. The order went through correctly, the filler arrived 1 day later in the mail, and I've had no problems. In fact, I've needed to place a few orders at Staples, and each order I place, I always add another free license of both the download and box version.

Great deal, easy to apply for, and absolutely no problems whatsoever. Thanks for posting this, MC. If you're going to order something from Staples anyways, you might as well add a free boxed version of this to your cart. The coupon takes off taxes, so it's no loss to you. They now limit you to 1 copy of each (download and boxed) per order, while the limit WAS 1 box and 9 downloads (or 0 boxes and 10 downloads) per order a couple days ago.

EDIT: And for us non-premiere members (shame on me!), the before-coupon total counts towards the free shipping limit. If you need a small item and want free shipping on it, these items work as excellent tax-free fillers.
