43 and some change is a great deal for a new release but read Amazon reviews (beware of spoilers) and then decide if forty plus hours is worth playing for an ending fans are petitioning to have changed.

I played all the way through. The ending is not great, but the game is AWESOME. If you are interested in the game, buy Mass Effect 2 for even less money, buy the downloadable choose your own adventure to go through the choices of the first game and then buy Mass Effect 3. Amazing games, but you'll get more out of them if you play the second one first. (The first game is a little too massive to get through.)
