But why? I'm as hardcore FW-er as the next, but it seems like the only "deal" here is that the USPS (or whatever shipper is used) makes money. We spend a penny, and only get a penny in return.

Ordered through 'FOX' seller. I'm in for one just to see if it comes in a protective coin case. Thanks OP.

No HDMI, no USB-3, no SSD, and no reviews, make quality suspect.

In for 473,234,775. Thanks OP!

Dead
Now costs: $0.95 + $4.49 shipping for one penny.

Is there a quantity limit?

Citibank Forward card gives me 5 ThankYou Points for every dollar I spend at Amazon, plus they round up. Assuming 5 TYP = 5 cents (it's not), this means I can earn 5 cents for every $0.51 I spend - that's almost 10% Cash Back!

Double your profit by using an Amazon Visa, also.

In for 1000 of them!

Its not dead, you just hafta change sellers

In for 100

Not dead yet, but going quick.

Link for 2 pennies for 2 cents

Does this have an AGP slot?

From the seller: "ONLY ONE COIN PER ORDER!!! Orders with more than 1 coin will be cancelled!"

Sad, I can see this guys ratings going down if the deals get cancelled.

ONLY ONE COIN PER ORDER!!! Orders with more than 1 coin will be cancelled! Coin in Brilliant Uncirculated Condition from bank rolls.............gotta read the fine print

can only store up to 100 items in Amazon's cart.

the 1 cent only has 22 in stock.
the 2 cents seems to have a lot more, but have to order $2 for each order... seems like a lot of hassle if you're trying to build up some rewards.

"PLEASE -- ONLY ONE SET PER ORDER! Multiple Sets please use multiple orders. Coins will come in protective flip."

If you pay with a CB credit card you make money on it

If you get 1.5% it's $0.00015

Seems like a good way to pump up your seller ratings on the cheap if you limit the amount of these you have...

All that's left on the penny are:
$0.95 + $4.49 shipping and $0.01 + $4.49 shipping

Great way for the seller to get all your info for just a penny and imagine what he can get when he sells your info. WOW

Ever hear of rounding?

Better title:

"Inscribed copper portrait of Abraham Lincoln - just one penny!"

Third party Amazon sellers do not get access to a user's email address, phone number, payment information, etc. All they get is name and address - so if you wanted to "resell" that info you're better off picking up a phone book.

Or $0.1001, if you use a card that gives you 1% CB plus an additional $0.10 per transaction...

Not quite true. You're an Amazon customer that paid $.01 for a penny. That gives them some info to sell.

Buyer beware, broken when I got it.

Dead deal. No longer a penny: $0.95 + $4.49 shipping

MSRP is not a deal.

or its like the other coin companies where they get your name and address and now will send you a bunch of coin catalogues in the mail all the time.

The 2-penny set is available again. Don't know what the seller is trying to do.

I believe these are the Chinese version, not as good as the the US version IMHO.

Penny with free shipping is back. Only a few available.

Update: Just received my 3 pennies.

Did the Chase Freedom new Visa card 35000 bunus points deal, and when the new card arrived with terms, I noticed in the paperwork there is a statement about purchases of cash, money products, and "cash like" products such as lottery tickets will be treated as a cash advance and not as a regular purchase. Maybe to stop US Treasury coin orders?

Never noticed this language in my old cards. Glad I used an old card to buy the penny.

Penny arrived although there appears to be a slight nick in the copper at 3:00. Will return it for a full refund!
