90 day trial of platinum.

I tried it and it says "session timed out... try again". Doesn't work.

It worked, thanks!

Worked with Chrome Browser

Worked for me- thanks!

BUMP. This thread deserved a bump for two reasons:

  1. You have roughly 3 days left to sign up for this great offer, and
  2. We are now at the very start of the summer vacation season. So if you sign up now you will get Platinum status through roughly August 8.

Thanks to the OP for a cool find. I will definitely make use of this on vacation.

RJ

Finally did it. Thanks!

Tried 3 different VISA Signature cards with 3 different Hyatt Gold Passport accounts ... and got nothing. Screen on Hyatt page said I was registered for the promotion after successfully inputting the VISA number, but I see no change in the status when I log into Hyatt account.

Does this show in your Hyatt account details immediately? Do you need to have had Hyatt account for some time? These are new (a few weeks old) Hyatt Gold passport accounts.

Yeah I had the same problem. I called them on the phone and the rep that I talked to knew exactly what was going on. She said (very confidently) that it takes 24-48 hours for the upgrade to show up on your account. Mine still isn't showing up either. You might want to print out the page that says you have successfully registered for the promotion, so you have something to show them later if it doesn't show up.

Signed up for the promotion yesterday and it is showing as PLATINUM MEMBER in my account profile today! Thanks, OP!

It says I have Platinum Tier Benefits until 08/31/2012.

Worked great for me! Thanks!

Did you call Hyatt or Visa?
I signed up on the 9th but still don't see any changes to my account.

I called Hyatt only. They have pretty amazing support at the Gold Passport line. If you just call and explain your situation they can manually enroll you in whichever promotions you are trying to get.

Mine still hasn't shown up as of today, but I just talked to someone who swears it will show up within the next 48 hours.

It finally started showing up this afternoon, FYI.
