A couple of new garden tools is probably a much better investment than another hard drive or gigabit switch.
OP - Green for you and thanks.

OOPS! Sorry about that. I had a hard time getting it all straight too.
Craftsman club and the Sears site in general are getting more and more complicated these days...
Never heard of it called a "transfer" shovel. Learn something new every day.

Signed up for Craftsman Club, searched for Sears item # on craftsman.com website, added to card, but it's still showing $17.09. How do you get it to $16.19?

When getting ready to place the order I simply put in my member # off to the right (i think) and it took $ off

Problem was the site doesn't work with Firefox, at least with CS-Lite, Noscript, and Addblock Plus installed, but accepting cookies for craftsman.com, accepting all scripts on craftsman.com, and with ABP disabled on craftsman.com.

Yeah, I did look at Homedepot later, and see their shovels are made by AMES / true temper as well. Their shovels did not have the corrugated blade, but did have a feature that the craftsman didn't: They had "supersocket" a rather elongated socket into which the shovel handle is assembled, and the other thing I liked about the HD shovels was that there is an additional white sleeve on the handle's end. Yes, on the top of the handle. This keeps the tip end of the rubber hand guard stiffer at the end and may keep the rubber hand guard from being poked into the shovel and losing it's tip.....
After all this, I was thinking, that maybe the corrugations actually are making the shovel more difficult to put into the earth... I do like the shovel equally as much as the HDepot ones though.
Thanks everyone for the green votes.
I'm HPMaster and I dig this deal.
HPM.
PS: Always on the lookout for a hot deal, as there are fewer and fewer of them around these days!

I think HD has some of those True Temper shoves for about $20 or so? Do they not compare?

The tru tempers that compare have the "super socket" but do not have the corregated blade.
The price at HD is nationwide, about $31, so at that price point, no they do not compare.
