has anyone tried calling them to get the $50 extra discount applied on a phone/online order? the ad does not specify it's an instore only deal, so not sure why someone can't get this from OfficeDepot.com?

I just called Office Depot's 800 number--they didn't know anything about the $399 deal, they said to call the store. It didnt work for me online either.

did you refer them to their ad? usually they know about the deals, whether they'll honor them is another issue. Sounds like you just called too late in the day. call tomorrow during business hours and have the online ad to reference.

what year was this? judging by the specs (and the XP mention), I'm guessing late 2001 early 2002?
