This is a great price. My buddy got one of these and absolutely loves it. It literally came out last week, and I'm stunned that it's available at this price. $20 shipping, but no tax as far as I can see on the OP. That would still make it $30 less than Amazon. Wow. I played with it this morning If I didn't already have my ipad 2 and so invested in that app ecosystem, I would definitely buy one for this price.

Great price - if I didn't have a TF Prime which works well for me I'd highly consider this.
In stock in NJ.

I was a little peeved when I saw this in my email yesterday - especially since I just ordered a tf300t from Newegg on Saturday morning. however its really not so bad considering I saved $24 in tax and $15-20 in gas.

Sad that I just bought a TF101 for $240 .... but $110 might not worth it correct?

You have to decide for yourself what is more important - the wealth of apps and games available and optimized for the ipad, or everything the tf300t has that apple doesn't - a better processor and graphics capability,, USB device support out of the box, standardized (and CHEAP) microHDMI output, a keyboard/trackpad dock that increases battery life to 12-15hrs, oh and uh.. Adobe FLASH! To me, the transformer series (including the tf101) is a far more useful everyday tool than the ipad could ever be. you just gotta love a tablet that likes to pretend it's an ultrabook!

whatever you gotta tell yourself man.. jk! - it all depends on your financial situation. the tf101 is still a solid tablet. You also have to consider the pricing of the dock. the TF101 keyboard is available for as little as $115 today. so for $355 you can have the full transformer experience (ICS included) - I'll have spent $550+ altogether.

Yeah, it just depends on what you use it for, and especially if you need the extra power of the Tegra 3. I really liked my TF101, but I sold it last week just because I knew all the new tablets were coming out and I wanted to get my money out of it (which I did at a small profit) before prices dropped.

The only thing that keeps me thinking ipad is 3G/4G.. If asus put 3 or 4G card in the transformer I'd be all over it.
I need a tablet with internet accesses with out tethering or looking for open wifi. I actually would prefer a 3G one as the coverage is better.

My store SOLD OUT !!!
It's a popular device right now. ASUS may have had a problem though underselling it's competitors with the 50.00 discount.

By the way this deal was never dead. If you read the email, it said in store only. Thus, all they did was took it off the website, probably so people won't pricematch. My local store still had 5 left (minus 1 for me).
