and I hope they continue to bring in new customers to keep ooma in business as I enjoy my zero $ monthly phone bill from ooma. I'm a 2+ yrs customer so no taxes/fees at all, for now.

Yes, new models pay it from what I have read. Some refurbs may not. Mine from Frys 2 years ago does not have the 911 fees.
Thanks! I just ordered one to see how well it works. Haven't had a landline in years but cell reception isn't always the greatest. Hope this resolves that!
