Same rebate as last time so be sure not to exceed the limit of 5 if you got in on the earlier deal.

Hey, no kidding about eBay. I bought an HP with WiDi but didn't think I would use it because I thought the adapter was over $100. At $35 shipped from Beach via eBay, I'm in! THanks.

RE: ALSO NETGEAR PUSH2TV WORKS ON THIS MODEL.
I will be checking that out. Do you meant it can stream the content pn the Dell over your home network to all pc's on the network?
NEVER MIND (I THINK) Since the laptop already has the HDMI out, that can go to the TV.....and I do.

I have not seen a Mad Magazine for 30 or so years. Is Alfred still in it?

I missed out on the previous three sales of this laptop. For those that bought and are actually using it, what do you think? My daughter's Acer isn't worth upgrading if a new lappy is only $349.
Mad Magazine online. Now, with a free iPad app (issues not free, though).

Is the Staples $50 off a new computer coupon good to combine with this deal?

At this price it would be a great deal. The current price of $629 seems inflated for an i3.

Where is this coupon? Are they unique coupons for specific customers?

THAT coupon is only good on a specific laptop. Not this one.
This is surely the $50 coupon in question it expires on the 5th

It has 4 USB ports. 2 are BLUE, does that mean USB 3.0 ? The other 2 are black
EDIT in looking at the manual... The right side and rear USB which are BLUE are the 3.0 The 2 on the left are BLACK, 1 with power.

The SKUs are different and that's an HP. How would you even attempt to use that on this laptop?
I'd imagine the $50 off coupon is the rewards coupon tied to people's accounts.

Wow. I've been looking at some hard drive replacement videos (would like to put my SSD in this) and it looks like it's going to be a major hassle to do that.

Great deal, very tempting...but man I wish this was an i5! Going to hold out a little longer, hopefully we'll see one around $400 soon.

Set up guide for the laptop says "Create System Recovery Media" 8 Gb thumb drive needed for restore.
However, when a new 8 Gb was inserted, message on screen says, you need 10 Gb or more....

Anybody have any experience with replacing the DVD drive with an HDD/SSD caddy? Like this one: Link
If so, can you make the drive in the caddy the primary boot disk? I don't want to have to mess with opening this laptop up to put a SSD inside.

I despise Dell corporation. Good luck if you ever have to call their customer support for any reason. Good deal however OP as long as you don't have any problems with the lappy.

I bought this laptop for 499 in store on 4/24. Do Staples do Price Adjust within when it goes Sale on 5/6? Would price adjust affect my Rebate?

do a return/rebuy for the lower price. a new rebate form will spit out, just submit it again as the first one will get invalidated due to the return.
