Well, I'll give it a shot.
Coupon expires in November or something, so I'm good on that front. I just think I'm going to run in to some trouble with management, as this probably gives their sales numbers hell.

Um no thanks. In my heart of hearts, I don't care about their sales numbers -- I just don't want to deal with irate Staples employees.
I'm going to go pick one up today and return/rebuy tomorrow.

I know. I have been read the riot act about when I buy and there is nothing extra in the employees "basket" which they track...
They all know me and I can only buy from 3 workers who are not tracked and it must be 3 laptops at a time..... From one store only..... It does work for me..Kinda....

Dude, what are you on about? I can only comprehend like 1/10 of what you post.
I just picked up one of these laptops for 629+tax. Going for the return/rebuy option tomorrow. WISH ME LUCK.

Also, should I not open this laptop up to avoid any problems tomorrow? I feel like if I leave it sealed, I can pull the "it hasn't even been opened" card. Alternatively, if it's a lemon, I'll have to go through more hassle of getting it replaced.

I might try that, and they're supposed to take opened laptops back within 14 days with no muss, so I am going to check it later. Thanks!

THE FREE ITEM IS ON THE FRONT PAGE OF AD (IN HAND) No number listed, store will have it.... Previous code was 73780 expiring 3/31/2012
Coupon code #68019 on the item listing now automatically adds to cart. So without stacking other coupons, this is almost $80 less than Amazon after +tax on $450 & -rebate, not including that lid.
Still, don't think you can do much better than this if you need a notebook for less than $400.

I thought ejunkie codes don't work on laptops? Can anyone confirm this? Another $30 off would make this extra hot!

That is exactly what I thought. I looked at EJunkie website and I do not see any coupon that would work with a laptop or desktop.

This morning, I bought the HP desktop mentioned in another thread and successfully applied an ejunkie code. I only bought a $25/75 thinking that if it didn't fly, I could use it later on a K-cup deal. But it did work.
The Dell is much better, the Asus has a MUCH slower processor (over 5x slower!) 2GB of memory instead of 6GB (2GB is not enough really, 6GB is plenty) also the Dell has a larger hard drive... There is really no comparison, I would not recommend the Asus, its a netbook with a 15" screen. The Dell is a great deal (just bought one for my sister-in-law)

Using a non pc coupon in store has always been, YMMV. On line, "it has been reported..." Initially it will be accepted, then before shipment denied... <<< both documented on previous FW posts

Staples stores must have a ton of these. Unlike online, I have never seen a store search within 500 miles of me not have stock.... Thats about 12 locations.

According to previous posts, orders online accepted have been totally cancelled or they got a phone call advising the coupon is not valid on their purchase and do they still want it....

Well, I placed two orders - one without the 25off75 coupon and the other one without. Both were accepted and if the one with the 25 off 75 coupon does not ship, I will still have the other one. If both flies, I will return the one without the coupon to the store. Makes sense?

Good move as lone as dot com does not decide to call you a reseller and cancel all..... They did me, but I bought dozens before they did that.
