+1 on that. Was playing around with the newer models at a B&M and all the HP touch pads were horrible. Could have also been that the hundreds of people have been touching them become less responsive? I was trying to scroll using two fingers, couldn't do it (and it wasn't the scroll settings). I do not use a external mouse so the touch pad is a major selling point for me. If it doesn't work properly it gets frustrating.
On the other hand, ASUS, Dell and Gateway lappy's all have excellent touch pads IMO.

I have not seen any good deals on Core i7 computers lately. Everybody was saying that by April/May there will be a lot of them because of the new generation of microprocessors.
